I am suspicious of anyone who befriends Trump and though I love Israel where I've been many times on merchant ships for oranges and by motorcycle overland for the pleasure of being there, I don't find Netenyahu an attractive leader. I think Hamas are the scum of the earth and make no excuses for their behaviour but I can't help fearing that Israel is scoring own goals with its current polocies in the West Bank and Gaza. I do appreciate that it's hard to see how you can reason with people who are constitutionally committed to killing you and this needs to be flagged up more often. In the UK I have nevr seen a debate between Hamas sympathisers defending their holocaust policy against Jewish/Israeli advocates. Why not?
