Israel rises, no soars above the blatant antisemitism and the so-called anti-Zionism (that's antisemitism rebadged) that seems to prevail in our modern world.
The Left, the Islamic extremists, the Marxists, the woke WEF - they may appear to output more media sound & fury (see BBC for unlimited examples) but the reality is that Israel has the moral high ground, the military high ground and ever more effectively, the political high ground. Israel's enemies are ever more vocal and ever more demonstrative.
Judge Israel by her enemies:
Iran.
Qatar.
Hamas.
Hezbollah.
ISIS.

It shames me as an Englishman to have our Prime Minister 'recognising' the State of 'Palestine' when such a thing meets not one of the statehood requirements in international law - but Starmer and his cronies are of the Left.
A permanent population, a defined territory, an effective government, and the capacity to enter into relations with other states - 'Palestine' has none of these things; hence Starmer & Co define themselves by their actions.
However, as this article describes so well, the tactics of Israel's enemies are simply not working at any level other than primary publicity. Our UK 'diplomats' continually talk about the massive UK 'soft power'. Israel also demonstrates the value of soft power via diplomatic outcomes such as Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia; she also illustrates the value of hard power. I only wish my own country had the moral, political and military courage and will to do likewise.

I like your style - but at the risk of being controversial here, I'd argue that the Teutons have the reputation of being EFFICIENT; our Prime Minister was not at the front of the queue where competence, charisma, consistency, communication skills, principles, ethics, morals or anything else associated with efficiency were being handed out. (With or without an umlaut)
They are efficient. "Der Stürmer" is a reference to the Nazi propaganda rag sheet of that name that was written by Julius Streicher during the 1930s and early 40s.
My friend Jay and his family had traveled to Israel hoping to experience the history, the faith, and the feeling of walking on sacred ground. For them, it wasn’t just a vacation — it was a chance to connect more deeply with the roots of their Christian faith.
Jay’s grandmother wore her gold chain proudly, the same one she had worn for decades. Hanging from it was a small gold cross, a symbol of their family’s Christian identity and a reminder of everything they believed in. She never took it off.
But what happened that day changed everything.
Jay told me they were walking through a crowded street, the kind where people move quickly and you can barely keep track of faces. A group of young men approached them. Before anyone could react, one of them stepped forward and, in a sudden and violent motion, grabbed the gold chain from his grandmother’s neck.
The cross — the symbol she cherished — was ripped away like it meant nothing.
She gasped and stumbled, clutching her chest where the chain used to lay. Jay caught her before she fell, but he could never forget the look on her face: fear, disbelief, and heartbreak all at once.
It reminded him of robberies back home on the Red Line in Chicago — fast, brutal, and personal. But this felt deeper. It wasn’t just theft. It felt like an attack on something sacred to their family.
In that moment, they felt exposed, unprotected, and unwelcome.
They had come searching for holiness.
Instead, they left with a memory that would stay with them forever — the loss of something meaningful, and the feeling that a place they hoped would uplift them ended up hurting them instead.
Well said .. Israel is a formidable nation and greatly misunderstood.
The lies and hate perpetrated by the likes of the BBC, Guardian, Channel 4, SKY UK, many British politicians and the likes of the UN, are a shameful slur on Israel.
Thought provoking essay with a positive outlook on recent events involving Israel. Nice to read something positive concerning Israel and its relationship with other nations.
To paraphrase the opening quote, "From diplomacy to soccer, CNN is becoming irrelevant on the global stage." When I recall what CNN was like during the 1991 Iraq War and compare it to now, it's just another example of an empire that has fallen. CNN will one day be a spec of schmutz in the dustbin of history while Israel and the Jews will continue to prevail.
"The Belt and Road Initiative has deliberately left Central Asian economies dependent on Chinese financing and vulnerable to Chinese political leverage." To me this is economic slavery intended to put ANY country involved in Red Chinese chains. I also find it remarkable that the smallest country in the region is seen as the antidote to the Mad Mullahs in Tehran.
This really is quite incredible. How I would love to post these facts to people I know. But as a Jew living in the UK, I wouldn’t dare.
However, looking at the allies Israel has made, and how their close ties will exclude us, is actually quite frightening. If you consider that Russia, China and North Korea are probably our main adversaries, Israel and its allies do not rely on any of these countries and can collectively manage without them. We are on the other hand buy everything we have from China. Choose to shout about a war Russia in with a part of Russia. Name Palestine a state. But what really got me is our plans on gov.uk to defend ourselves. My favourite being: ‘Defend our territory.’ And let’s be honest you can just walk into this country/swim.
Another part of our strategy that stood out: ‘Renew and refresh key alliances.’
My goodness, this country is stuffed. And whilst they’re all shouting about a small piece of land in the Middle East, the country attached to it has become so strong through intelligence and relationship building, that we couldn’t hope to challenge it. No wonder the Israelis are so confident.
I feel Aaliyah coming closer each day.
I wonder whether Israel has enough room to accommodate the World’s diaspora.

By the way, I like to call your PM, "Der Sturmer" (with an umlaut German "u").

I refer to this PM as Keir Stammerer. By the way "Der Sturmer" was Julius Streicher's anti-Jewish newspaper but I'm guessing you already knew this.
YEP.
Fair

EXACTLY. Great essay and reveals the truth of what is happening.
Excellent
