Kelli, you are so right. The Israelis have such strength in disaster. You have a long history of it. Your tiny Country is extraordinary and so are the Israelis!

After reading your substack. Your words made me think how much the Israeli people love their country & stand for their values . It's a small country with a massive heart . I hope peace comes to them soon, as they've been persecuted for far too long because of they're religion , values . They are fighting against evil beyond any words can express . Women as well as men fight for their cause , it's inspiring.......god bless you all .

Like every place else Israel is far from perfect. But it's just about the best humanity can hope to be.

Again to reiterate, Palestine is a moniker given to the land btwn 1917 and 1947 by the British Empire, and it does not make sense to use the name now. So let's stop using that word and let's focus on Israel being happy because there is peace

Israelis clearly are hated because they try to live normal lives despite being attacked by those who seek their extermination

Beautiful tribute to Israel and Israelis

Those who condemn Israel for its resilience, humanity, bravery and optimism are those whom are jealous and lack those same qualities. No country is perfect, but having experienced many other places there is no other country which respects and celebrates life as Israel. The haters can puke their bile as much as they want until their soul is shrivelled but that will not change the light of Israel.

So beautiful. I really feel all these nonsense protestors would eat their words and actions if they spent a day in tel aviv or yerushalayim getting even just a tiny feeling of Israel’s magic and of course it’s beautiful, diverse people.

I've often commented that it's difficult to understand Israel, without thinking about the fact that it's the only country with so many bomb shelters and safe rooms. Always under siege from terror, living next door to assorted insane asylums.

Thank you, this made me cry.

Amazing young people who grow up to take responsibility in their own hands. As if it is the most natural thing in the world. Happy Jerusalem Day from Jerusalem.

Actually, it is not amusing. It's rather than pathetic that you tried to use an enlarged vocabulary, most likely enhanced with AI, to attempt to win an argument you cannot win because you are simply wrong and have distorted historical evidence. There is no Perpetual get-out-of-jail-free card for anyone, but the reality is whether you accept it or not is that Israel is the Perpetual good guy in this Clash of civilizations. This Clash can only end in one of two ways, the complete annihilation of Western thought morals, and democracy, or the triumph of Islamism and the subjugation of the world to its supposed moral code that is based on the writings and sayings of a warlord that either had a psychiatric break when he imagined he was visited by the angel Gabriel or the whole narrative was just justification for his Mega ego in which he wanted the world to follow him and what he wanted and believed would give him the most ultimate power, spreading Islam by the sword. And before you mention that this entry is different than my previous one, I'm using voice-to-text on my cell phone rather than typing eloquently on my computer because your response needed a timely refutation. You, sir, and your convoluted thinking processes and opinions that contradict reality and history are now summarily dismissed. Do not waste your time or mine in any guarantee to fail attempt to respond. It is not amusing, it is not enlightening, is farcical.

For the first time in its first century of Statehood, David Ben-Gurion’s offer of coexistence with neighbors is taking shape through (1) in the Crescent of territory from the Sea of Galilee to the western shore of the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijanis and Kurds and Druze are seeing the value proposition of alignment with Israel and (2) The Abraham Accords. Pessimism is understandable however when private investment capital is being put into these relationships, then one has to consider that a pathway beyond war may be emerging.

What a beautiful, gracious letter that mom wrote to her son’s fellow soldiers. 🇮🇱
