This needs a love button.. I see from the comments, I'm not alone. This makes me even more proud of what Israel has contributed to our world.

Remarkable developments in a very harsh environment. Israel is creating a Space City and I wonder when they will be launching rockets manned or not independent of any other country. Meanwhile the Arabs are developing a better camel, in comparison.

Very cool. I can recommend a fun hostel in Mizpe Ramon. Also, a good restaurant. There's a little artist colony, too. This research has many and various benefits. Thanks for telling us.

Always stayed in my memory. Our friend/driver took us to see the Ramon Crater, we were traveling from Jerusalem to the Taba border crossing, he made a detour so we could see this awesome huge crater.

Israel dreams about Mars while scrambling for basic ammo on Earth.

It outsources critical supplies, shrugs as hostile forces entrench in Judea and Samaria, isn’t built for a long multi-front war, and stays politically fractured. Meanwhile, antisemites and terrorist groups seem to handle its global PR better than it does.

Space-age ambition. Ground-level chaos.

Seems like Israelis choose life and much of the rest of the world chooses . . .

Israel’s survival depends on its ability to future proof its economy. This isn’t a distraction, it’s a targeted long-term strategy.

"shrugs as hostile forces entrench in Judea and Samaria"

"stays politically fractured"

"Meanwhile, antisemites and terrorist groups seem to handle its global PR better than it does."

All those are connected - you don't have to look too far for answers.
