Many if not most Jews, at least Reform Jews, of which I am one, have been programed to hate or at least distrust Christians. At least those we don't marry. There is some sort of racial memory that keeps the pogroms of a hundred or more years ago alive in many of us. Which is a round-about of saying that many Jews simply cannot stomach voting Republican, for historical, and no longer valid, reasons. As well, most true-believer liberals, Jewish liberals among them, do believe that the Democrats provide fairness and compassion, Medicare for all, free this and that, open our borders to the rabble they mistake for refugees equal to those fleeing the Holocaust, and so on. Just this morning I told my husband that I believe the time has come for us to leave this beautiful country. It’s not our birthday country, and emigrating here 44 years ago was difficult and quite a culture shock!
But it’s time for us to live amongst Our People. Time for us to leave these comforts behind, and once again face a culture change, language change and opinion change.
I don’t feel safe here anymore. I don’t feel like we can walk to Shul every week with my husband in a kippah, me in a hat, and no security until we reach our Shul, 5 minutes away.

Yet, according to the Times of Israel, 57% of Jews voted for him!
If that is close to accurate, it means that most of us Jews have become lost in America.
I checked a couple of other sources and they report the same number. 57% of Jews in Michigan voted for an avowed antisemite.
