I think this is a great article. The one piece that’s missing is the educational system in the U.S. that has been teaching our youth to hate America - and by extension - hate Israel. CAIR and other organizations like it have been very busy pushing their “anti—Zionist” (antisemitic) agenda over the last several decades from kindergarten to graduate school while ADL and other Jewish organizations have completely ignored this phenomenon or underestimated the significance it would have. I still don’t think today they are willing to call this out for fear of being labeled “Islamophobic.” American Jews need to learn what Israelis have known for years - that if we don’t openly fight those opposed to our existence - we will not be allowed to exist for much longer.
It goes well BEYOND antisemitism. Why is our media not talking about ISLAMISTS - Muslims - Islamists who have made it clear to anyone willing to listen that they intend to spread Islam all over the world and create a Muslim Caliphate? They're not embarrassed to talk openly about their plan. Wake up!
The liberal left tends to have an acceptance of minorities and to always say ‘yes’. The slow seep of Muslims into western society is never met with a ‘no’. This desire to build a multi ethnic society, all sounds great on paper, that ‘all people are equal’, but one thing the liberal tolerant left is completely myopic about … the Muslim way of life is totally different to western culture .. a clash of civilisations.
Western liberal democracies will destroy themselves by this blind acceptance of immigration.
I think a lot of New Yorkers do not care about Israel. They are fine to ignore Mamdani’s antisemitism. Their concern as the economy. They are recent inhabitants, moving to the city with the hope of wealth and work. They come with huge student debt and find that the city is expensive. The jobs are not so well paying. Many are supported by families who don’t want to continue subsidizing them. They are angry. They feel that they worked hard at these fancy schools and were promised a future that isn’t there.
New York had already dropped from 30% Jewish to 12% as these new college grads take the place of the old immigrant families. New York hasn’t been affordable for a long time.
The damage that Mamdani will create is blaming Jews for their problems.
Yes, for a lot of New Yorkers, if they paid any attention at all or heard the radio or TV or the internet, it was all about Israel's "genocide." Not Oct. 7th. Nor do Jewish lives matter to them. Besides, the Jews are always making demands, so they'll tell you.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, then Long Island, worked on Madison Avenue. and enjoyed all that New York had to offer, I now mourn my once great and sophisticated city. I lived in the era where you could rent a studio apartment for $150 on Central Park West, yes, Central Park West. The same building had been converted back to a single family dwelling priced in the millions. What a city it was, but I think the problem is going even deeper than Mamdani, who I knew would win months ago. The US is being infiltrated with Islamists who are bent on destroying our Constitution and our Western values. Unless a firm stand is taken by the federal, state, and local governments, there will be calls to prayer and Sharia law in the near future. In one section of Brooklyn, the Muslims already have their own people "policing" the streets with "police" cars. They decide who is breaking the law among them. Qatar's tentacles and money are also spread far and wide in our universities, local schools from K-12, real estate owned, businesses and politicians compromised. Mamdani is just the beginning, so while I mourn my beloved New York City, I fear I will continue to mourn as this cancer spreads to other towns and cities in the US. Dearborn is already signed and sealed. I remain positive that it's not too late to stop it.
All that storied life of yours and you really seriously believe that Islamists are going to infiltrate the US government. How very sad. A life wasted to produce a person who trembels in fear of fantasies.
They had a name for "rabbis" like him in Germany, capos. He said the quiet part out loud, the young generation has no clue about history, and yet they question. How do you question what you don't know? There are a lot of "liberal" rabbis like him in New York. I'm not of those young Jews, who is uninformed, and on TikTok all day to get my information from psuedo experts. He can believe anything he wants and I hope it will work for him. As for me, I've heard from many "rabbis" like him and I'll pass, thank you.
No, im not against women, and i do understand people leaving there home, there country, because they feared to be killed, save their lives, to find stability and security. But this have to count for ALL human beings, who are willing to build on an society, on our society… where we can live together in peace and respect for each other, to appreciate the contribution of the other person…live and let live…
Maybe you need to rethink how to use words to express yourself. I don't have to account for ALL human beings beause ALL human beings do not want to build on our society. Live together in peace and respect for each other. Where is that taking place? I appreciate the contributions of those who contribute, not those who want to destroy our civilization.
Our Constitution and the so called Western values are being destroyed by billoniers as Musk, Thiel, Men like Trump, Vance, Miller and the mad man in Pentagon.and dont we forget people women as you are, forgetting that NY was build by immigrants, the US was build by Immigrants, after killing almost every native inhabitans…
and there it is...."so called Western values." They may not be perfect, but I'll take our Constitution and values over any other kinds of government. It's telling what side you represent by the people you name, and your bias against women? Ha! That dismisses your comment totally. My grandparents on both sides were immigrants, who left horrible conditions to come to the US, and worked hard to build a life for themselves and their offspring. As far as Native Americans, try going deeper because they were not exempt from killing, torture, and cruelty. While you're at it, try looking up the wealthy on the Left who have built their mega companies on Native American land, while pontficating their "morality" to others. As for your question, try comprehending my previous comment.
Wonder how many Jewish folks will be leaving the City now that there will be a jihadi supporter in Gracie Mansion. All I can say is the the voters in New York City have lost what little minds they had.
You have articulated well a senseless event and the reverberations of this choice by New Yorkers might well extend beyond NYC. It starts in NY. Where will it end?
The cancer that is militant unapologetic Islam will quickly metastasize from NYC to more and more of America — unless it is promptly surgically removed. The forces screaming “Death to Israe (Little Satan)! Death to America (Big Satan)” now have a confederate in control of America’s largest city and financial capital. The intifada is about to be Americanized.
👏👏👏 Every word on-point, Joshua! New York City has decided to elected Zohran Mamdani as Mayor. He was expected to win and its no surprise to any of us. But the consequences for the city will be devastating but it’s their own fault. No sooner had Mamdani been elected than a swastika was drawn outside the Magen David Day School in NYC. New York City where 9/11 took place and a city that Jewish immigrants played a key role in helping build, elected an antisemitic socialist as their Mayor. They decided to double down on the disastrous policies that are hollowing out their city. Why did those who voted for him in particular Gen Z do so? Because of how bad the economy is and because he makes complex problems seem simple to solve. That’s why they supported him. I get it, but it isn’t going to go the way they think. His policies will make things much worse not better. They were bamboozled and are about to learn what a huge mistake they made.
New York City used to be the embodiment of the American Dream and the center of American creativity, innovation and the can-do spirit that made this country. But that’s all over now. That’s a thing of the past. Overtaxation, the high cost of living, over regulation, and strict zoning laws will continue to kill NYC as they are San Francisco, LA and London. I would advise all residents of NYC to move out as soon as possible. All Jews living in NYC should make plans to make Aliyah to Israel or move down South or out West. The Big Apple is rotten and no longer worth caring about. I have no empathy for the people of NYC at all. They voted for their own demise. Now they will have to reap the whirlwind of that decision. I believe Mamdani will likely end up being a one-term mayor. When the day inevitably comes that everything goes haywire, they’ll wonder how this could’ve happened and why he didn’t give them what he promised. If you’re a New Yorker, you’re best bet is to move to a different city in the state like Albany or Yonkers, a neighbor hooding state, down South, or out West. As to the Jewish community and the United States, the former will continue to thrive and the latter will survive.
NYC Jews can go bring their talents, knowledge and skills to a city that will appreciate them like Nashville, Miami, Dallas, Atlanta, Houston, Lexington, Charlotte, Charleston, Birmingham, Jackson, Tallahassee, Savannah, Tampa Bay, Richmond, Louisville, and Little Rock or to Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, etc. New York City better be prepared to be overrun with crime. It’s going to become Seventh Heaven for murders, rapists, junkies, pushers, pimps, prostitutes, pickpockets, burglars, arsonists, and psychopaths. Islamism will spread far and wide in NYC. All of us will be laughing at them and saying “I told you so!” a year from now. Curtis Sliwa should’ve pulled out of the race when he was told to. Had he done so, Andrew Cuomo would’ve been victorious. Now he takes the blame for helping Mamdani win.
In 2008, the Council on American-Islamic Relations was named by the U.S. Department of Justice as an “unindicted co-conspirator” in the trial of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, which was convicted of terror-financing for Hamas.
CAIR reportedly was a major donor for ZM’s campaign. He thus poses a serious national security threat and needs to be arrested asap.
Josh, Mamdani did not win by a landslide. when you total up Cuomo’s & Sliwa’s vote, it is almost a 50/50 split. So half of all NY does not support his policies & recognizes that this antisemitic novice will not be able to force his agenda as easily as he thinks.
Unfortunately, this election represents the front end of elections to come in the deep liberal large cities. Minneapolis is not far behind. I can easily foresee this happening in Chicago, LA, the other west coast bastions of "progressive enlightenment." As our FOJ writer of yesterday wrote, the question now becomes, "What next?". Start thinking and planning.
Look to London and Paris and Sydney … the islamists procreate like rats and are planning to take over the world and impart sharia law… hand made tail is a harbinger…read the Koran.
I actually had an older Jewish friend last year who was panicking at the thought of JD Vance becoming VP. "He wants to return all women to the nineteenth century!!" I always find it amusing when Independent Thinkers pick up on narratives advanced by The View ladies as if it just occurred to them. I told her if you don't like what Vance has in mind (with his highly educated Indian wife), you aren't going to like what the Islamists have in mind, which is returning women to the 7th century. After considering the guv'na of Muslimsota as the alternative VP candidate, I decided to go with the Orange Orangutan. A mixed bag, but can you imagine them other two? They're probly celebrating what happened in NYC at this very moment.
Unfortunately, history suggests that free societies contain the seeds of their own destruction, and people who enjoy prosperity for several generations become tolerant of the very ideologies that will ruin them. And raise their children with the same worldview.
Fortunately, we have an easily observable series of experiments happening for the past few years, which will ramp up quickly: Citizens of liberal states fleeing to conservative states. Of course, then they wonder why there are so few govt services compared to where they came from. They don't expend the same mental energy to wonder why everything is cheaper.
Also fortunate that America has a much smaller Muslim population than our Continental cousins; we haven't been stupid for quite as long. But this story is disturbingly familiar, in which citizens are so obsessed over social classes that they ignore the barbarians scaling the walls...
Most Americans continue to bury their heads in the sand and are unaware of the coming Islamist takeover of Western cities and countries. This is just the first step. Be prepared for lots more to come.

Yes, 1930’s Germany Redux.

The culture shift can be summed up in three phrases: You have it, I want it, I deserve it.
Escape from New York while you can.
Amen.
What you sow is what you reap.
The golden age of New York Jewry is over.
We brought the enemy in to see the temple treasury…now it’s arrived as conquerer. Wake up NY, you’re on hospice already.
The age of Judeo-Christian values is coming to an end. Get ready for the Islamists.
They are murderers. Did no one in NYC hear The Green Prince?

NOT senseless. Part of a clear plan to extend the Muslim caliphate all over the world. Wake up!!!
Just take a gander across the”the pond.” You’ll find your answer there…

Absolutely on the money. Why are we Americans so naive?!?!?!?!
