This is everything I have felt lately enunciated perfectly. I'm Scottish, through and through.

I'm not of Jewish decent and have never met a Palestinian in my life.

I have no reason to 'pick a side ' as I have been accused of doing lately.

I choose the side of the women and girls so horribly brutalized on the 7th.

I march for women's rights here in Scotland and have been sickeded by the silence over the rape of Israeli women-why does theirs not matter to these so called feminists??

I don't even call myself a feminist I just bloody care about what's happening to our sex based rights in this country,I care about the genital mutilation of our youth in the name of 'be kind'.

The crickets chirping after the 7th taught me all I need to know about these 'women'

I have no doubt that there are many decent people like you out there in the world but unlike you, they remain silent. Thank you for speaking up and standing up. Best always papa j

Thank you for inviting me to join your FB page "Love Israel. Stop Hate." I am not on any social media because of their tendency to violate individuals' privacy, not to mention their using subscribers' lists of contacts to expand their reach.

"Imagine if the Ku Klux Klan kidnapped some 250 African Americans — including children, women, and the elderly — and then Westerners across the world started to march, not for these African Americans, but for the Ku Klux Klan." Indeed! This is the perfect analogy. But for some reason certain over-priveleged Westerners fail to see the inherent cruelty and inconsistency of their stance towards Israel - joining hands with some of the most brutal and murderous people in the world; people who would just as soon murder them and their rights as the Jews they so evidently hate. It's a truly sobering situation, but at least now we see clearly who the idiots are. (Another clue is those who attach their pronouns to their email signature. Kind of them to signal their immaturity in this way.)

So what is it Joshua? Why the disconnect? How can they not see the hypocrisy of their action? What will it take for them to find the light? Are they just uneducated to the facts? Are they surrendering to peer pressure?

Well, the answer I think is they they fall primarily into two camps.

1. The Anti Semites - They don't care about the hypocrisy .... they just simply hate Jews and want to do anything to hurt them

2. The Misinformed - they dont really know the facts and are just misguided.

Personally, I believe that most dont like Jews. The come in various degrees of anti semitism but that is what lies as the source of it. I know as Jews we would like to think otherwise, just like when we believed in the lie of "innocent Palestinians" but in reality the ones that speak out and demonstrate are filthy antisemites.

I agree with you on both camps you mentioned, but for me, I believe it is all down to Jew hatred. While I know there are many in the world who don't hate Jews, too many do. We are resented for our success, intelligence, and innovation. We are hated because Jews survived historically and didn't portray themselves as victims. Jewish immigrants, poor as they were, found their way out of poverty through hard work. Hated because a piece of desert that had nothing became a glorious country through hard work and perseverance. The anti-Semitic tropes are still out there and used by those who hate Jews every chance they can get to use them. Even with all this, Jews have survived and will continue to survive. In 2024, I for one, can't make excuses for remaining ignorant or uneducated, but I will attribute it to the lies and PR permeating social media and our news legacy. That has fueled the hate that was already out there and turned it into a conflagration. I am hopeful that sanity will return, but Jew hatred will always remain in the minds and mouths of anti-Semites.

Very well articulated and I agree with everything you said. As far as numbers go, I have to rely on the ADL Global Anti Semitism Index and they say roughly 25% of the world is to some degree anti semitic. Of course, it depends on the country but that does mean that 3 out of 4 are not and that gives me hope. Bear in mind, most people are not involved in politics and certainly dont demonstrate for anything. That is why I feel that the majority of the demonstrators are mostly antismites. Have a good one and I sent you an invite to my group. ahimsa papa j

Thank you, Jerry. I would love to believe the 25% number, but I've become skeptical with data. I ask myself, how many people have answered honest , how many not wanting to admit that they are anti-Semitic. If that is accurate, it gives me even more hope. I do agree that the majority of the demonstrators are anti-Semitic and are always the loudest. They hunger for attention. I'll check out the invite, thanks.

I hear you about the numbers but I do believe it is fairly reliable. And of course, it was a global average. The Muslim countries have the highest but the most frightening number for me was the religious breakdown. Muslims were at 49% ... one out of two Muslims has anti semitic feelings!!! That blew my mind. So you can say that every one out of two Muslim illegals entering the southern border is anti semitic. That is a scary reality. Be well Diane and yes, check it out.

Yes yes yes! I so agree about the resentment of our success despite the hate and abuse, over and over and over for hundreds of years. This realization is why I no longer have patience for peoples who don’t pull themselves together and make progress. And yet victimization is somehow suddenly a badge of honor!!. But it is not. And Jews know this. We prevail no matter what. So can others.

100% agreed.

Well said Joshua. What I find truly sad and bizarre, however, is that there are not only Jewish Americans who do not ‘see’ how ridiculous such logical extensions are but, it seems to me, more than ‘a few’ Israeli Jews as well.

A really brilliant article that encapsulates the hypocrisy that abounds. Thank you.

The Palestinians are the scary attack dog that an inept, western, cultic, Christian derivative movement (progressivism, et. al.) has chosen for the moment as its tool to attack western values. They’ll drop the leash and forget about the Palestinians as soon as they imagine a better scheme for attacking western values. It’s a very superficial alliance.

And another thing - the scapegoaters are back across the political spectrum! They’re adamant that I can’t support Israel because I am a Christian. Evidently, real Christians know that the Jews killed the Christ. I’ve read the New Testament twice and I missed that (sarcasm, folks). Alternatively they’ll denigrate me for being one of “those” Christians (read “ignorant”). The funny thing - I’ll tell a Jew about Jesus, but they (my haters) will not. And I have a physics degree (maybe I am a cryptic Jew?) Who’s the serious Christian and who’s the wolf in sheep’s clothing?

I saw online that Jesus was Palestinian, even though the Roman name ‘Palestine’ was assigned as punishment 100+ years later, Islam was about 600 years in the future, and Arabs imperialists hadn’t invaded the world out of Arabia. I guess we’re wrong!

Your choices of which countries and factions to highlight in these brilliant reversals of our Jewish experience are spot on, with the possible exception of Tibet. (I would have to educate myself more about that situation.) This is a brilliant piece. Thanks, Joshua.

Toxic femininity, aka pathological altruism, exists when a person (typically female) chooses a subject for empathy and proceeds to be absurdly irrational in defense of that thing, as a mother is in defense of her child.

The West is the least masculine, most feminized society in history, and it is being torn apart by an epidemic of pathological altruism, wherein some people or groups can commit any atrocity and still be defended, even as the tiniest actions against them are vilified as great evils.

Fascinating. I’ve not heard this particular theory or way of expressing it - toxic femininity. I often write about how weak the West has become - this way of explaining it is strangely satisfying.
