Open Letter to the Congressional Leadership of the United States
Subject: Proposed Operation Iranian Freedom
I would like to respectfully ask you for your support for something I think could be the biggest turn of events in our world’s history since 1948. The uprising against Radical Islam taking place in Iran.
For forty six years the Ayatollah and radical Islam has held the people in a brutal crushing lock; forcing its people to take action against innocents and perceived enemies of Shia, Islam. The people of Iran could no longer stand the horrors, the hangings, the threats against Israel, the USA as well as anyone who did not do the bidding of the Ayatollah. They have taken to the streets and are in grave danger. They are unarmed with no one willing to assist them or defend them. That has changed with the promise of President Trump to protect the people. But this is not enough we must replace the horrible government of evil with the Constitutional Monarchy that the Iranian people want.
To accomplish this a small amount of outside force and support is required. Few countries are willing to devote troops to Iranian freedom but there are troops that are willing, able and already trained that are willing to volunteer their support to protect the Iranian people from the evil dictatorship of Islam. These people are US Army retirees and recent soldiers that have been discharged from the US Army. We want to support the Iranian people and understand why President Trump is unwilling to use regular US Army troops. But freedom volunteers in a small number, could secure the situation, protecting the Iranian people during the transition to a peaceful government. This unit of volunteers could secure airfields to allow supplies, medicine and equipment to get through to the people of Iran.
This type of unit, the Light Cavalry Squadron, although low in battlefield staying power is extremely mobile and could move from hot spot to hot spot as well as securing routes and airfields. The other advantage is it has a very small tail and minimum support requirement. Manned by volunteers who have offered to place their lives in danger for freedom, the equipment would be minimal. The Iranian people would have their heroes!
The initial training period and rehearsal for such a unit would allow for it to be utilized in as short a period as weeks from now. This is required before the flame of freedom burns out in Iran.
I am well aware of the contacts you have, I am asking you to support us by approaching some of these contacts and allow us to, at least, start preparation so that when needed by the President we are an option that can’t be argued against!
I will follow this letter up with the manning requirements, equipment requirements and air support and mobility requirements to make this small but important operation a success.
