Jews are the canary in society’s coal mine. When large portions of a population start blaming Jews in general or Israel in particular for their problems, you know you are looking at a civilization that is facing serious instability

Israel should quietly let the Europeans know that if Israel is forced to go nuclear, Europe will also be targeted as an enemy and as justice against 2000 years of being murdered by the Europeans.

Make the threat existential to Europe.

The entire continent of Europe has become the "sick man of Europe." We do not need their help to finish this off. In fact, it is better now if they stand aside. But finish this off we must. Cut off the head of the snake and the rest of the body will die.

Multiculturalism has had a very pernicious effect on European societies. Islamic apologists have outspent the west and won the information war. The values of civilisation and the principles of democracy are now in conflict. And civilisation is losing

What else is new? Modern antisemitism in Europe isn't an intrusion into the continent's values, but an expression of them. From medieval expulsions to the Inquisition, from the pogroms to the Holocaust, the pattern repeats: scapegoating Jews as the "other" is Europe's oldest and most durable political reflex. Jew hatred is intrinsic to its culture, its DNA.

Europe didn't stop hating Jews after Auschwitz. It just outsourced the work.

For centuries it handled the killing directly — expulsions, pogroms, gas chambers. Then came the optics problem. So Europe evolved. It learned to hide its oldest hatred behind human rights language and international law, and when Jews built a state capable of defending themselves, Europe found a cleaner arrangement: let terrorists do it, then make absolutely certain the Jews cannot fight back.

October 7th proved it beyond argument. Bodies still warm, hostages still being dragged underground — and European governments were already demanding Israeli restraint. Not condemning the butchers. Restraining the victims. Now Israel goes after Hezbollah — an organization that exists solely to kill Jews — Europe demanded it stop.

That isn't a mistake. That isn't complexity. That is a continent with centuries of muscle memory, watching and conspiring that Jews get slaughtered. It's doing what comes naturally.

Meanwhile, American Jews, diaspora Jews eat croissants on vacation in the Marais in Paris while the jewish family that used to own the bakery are preparing for Aliyah.

What has happened to Western Europe is shameful. I don't see how it recovers. There is no Churchill ready to step forward to reclaim the mantle of leadership in a battle to save Western Civilization. Churchill said of Neville Chamberlain "In that dusty soul there is nothing but abject surrender. " This is now true of the entirety of Western Europe as it allows itself to be slowly taken over by aggressive Islam.

And yet the sophisticated Europeans choose to support evil. Partly for short term political gain. But perhaps mainly because deep down their historical evil has realigned with leftist ideology. They will soon lie in the beds they have CHOSEN for themselves. And for my fellow Americans who view these enlightened Europeans as who they wish to emulate, get your assets over there pronto to live the lives of sophistication and false compassion you have made clear you prefer.

Unfortunately, Europe chose not to take the white-water path of rightousnous but to float the calmer waters only, downstream slowly - not a winning strategy, no rewards, no notoriety for trying…. Sadly, at best. No one will look to adding them to their team in future trials as they are not outstanding performers; in the race but not really competing.
