There are no Schindlers or righteous Gentiles in Gaza and Douglas Murray wrote that almost every house searched by the IDF has a copy of the Koran Mein Kamph and anti Semitic tracts together with tunnels that start in infants’s rooms .What Israel is fighting is the continuation of Nazism in this century

Not one ‘civilian’ who interacted with the hostages were kind in any way. The bleeding, harmed hostages were spat on by the women; housewives were cruel to those hidden in their homes. Nothing but swine. Cleanse the land, bring back Israeli greenhouses.

Yes, indeed. And it puzzles me that so few people seem to recognize that the Nazi beast has achieved an afterlife in contemporary jihadist movements.

I attended the local county fair this last weekend, a large county just west of a major metro area, and stopped at the Democrat Party table for a lively discussion with the folks there. I told them that there are two policies that animate me. Support for the 2nd amendment to the U.S. Constitution and support for Israel. I will not spend too much time on the first one except to say that we disagreed; however, on the second point, they were just about in lock-step with everything that you have just written. "Israel has killed over 60,000 innocent women and children in Gaza. Don't you care about these innocent people?" First of all ( and I do not apologize for this), "No. I do not care about them. I care about the Israelis who were murdered and the fact that their young men and women have to again fight another war to protect themselves." Secondly, it is not 60,000 women and children. The Hamas Health Ministry (now there's an oxymoron if I ever heard one) classifies all deaths in Gaza as caused by Israel. Battle deaths, heart attacks, killed while trying to get aid from a truck, death by scorpion bite, Does not matter. All Israel's fault. Furthermore, the U.N. itself has revised those numbers down. "What about the two-state solution?" Me, "Pppffftttt" I suspect that I did not change any opinions. And these are the people for whom over 80% of the Jews in the U.S. voted last time around. Years ago, as a young engineer, my Chief Engineer at the time had a small plaque on his wall which said, "Can we find at least one reason why it CAN be done?" In other words, when all around you are giving you excuses of why we can not achieve a certain goal, find the reason, however crazy it may seem, why we can. Then patiently persist and persevere (my there "Ps"). We will get it done regardless of those on our side who think it cannot be done. And later, they will thank us.

There was a '70's expression "Keep on keeping on" which is what Israel has been doing since 1948. Yes, that this little country has to arm itself to the teeth is regrettable but absolutely necessary for them to survive in a very hostile region. That there are Jews who decry these acts of survival is disgusting. It seems these critics seem to conveniently forget WHY Israel was created in the first place. Hang tough and drive on, Israel.

Thanks for this excellent little essay. The format of a dialogue with a self-flagellating Jew is very useful. Our enemies are always equipped with carefully scripted one-liners that they hurl preemptively at anyone who might challenge the truthfulness of their accusations. It's all designed to put you on the defensive before you even open your mouth. Many flimsy American Jews allow themselves to be shamed and guilt-tripped into silence by these radical aggressive tactics.

Forest Rain's rebuttal to each of these accusations is eloquent and compelling. For extended written confrontation, this is a winning approach. For real-time engagement or one-liner skirmishes, I've learned much from a comment by professor Ruth Wisse.

After delivering a public lecture, she was asked by a provocateur why Israel keeps killing babies in Gaza.

She replied: "Why did you murder your grandmother?"

That's a great response. I'm not a naturally funny person so my responses are more like: "it's called consquences" and "come for my family, you'd better believe I will come for you."

It seems better for people to believe awful things and at least be afraid than to explain. Explaining automatically puts you in the position of being wrong.

I think Jews are gradually beginning to understand the nature of the media war that's being directed at us. We still can't quite fathom that our opponents have no interest in fairness, accuracy or the actual facts. Their goal is hurl slime against us in voluminous quantities in the conviction that some of it will stick. Keep repeating "genocide" at every opportunity and people will eventually come to accept it. That's why they kept referring to Gaza as "occupied" even after all the Jews left. The facts don't matter; the goal is to repeat negative accusations at every possible opportunity. The Nazis understood this nearly 100 years ago, and the Jews are just now beginning to understand that the Queen's Rules don't apply when you're dealing with barbarians and psychopaths.

Nazis Palestine 🇵🇸 is a movement rooted in history since the second world war, championed by the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem in partnership with Adolf Hitler. Arafat was the nephew of the Mufti and the heir of his demonic approach. So called progressive Jews and their misguided condemnation of the Israeli government spread the false propaganda that fuels the narrative of victim hood of Palestinians. The consequence of this is obvious, that if the Jews themselves are saying it then it must be true. This is why weak Jews are the rot within that keeps Israel from achieving a complete victory.

Great article. Thanks for it.

The article ended with the question "Why would you — who supposedly cares about Israel, who supposedly supports Israel — choose to believe lies, when the truth is easy to find?"

Perhaps living in Israel you don't realize the hermetic seal of lies most people in the west live under:

Their politicians speak the same lies about Israel, the UN speaks the same lies about Israel, their academics, for the most part, speak the same lies about Israel, their favorite celebrities speak the same lies about Israel, their favorite musicians speak the same lies about Israel, the MSM speaks the same lies about Israel.

Where is the truth easy to find for people living half a continent away from Israel and the Palestinian territories?

The realities in Israel are only ideas in the west.

The realities in Israel are not realities in the west, they are only ideas, and this the key difference.

The ideas proliferated in the west about Israel are mostly antisemitic lies.

Very very bad for the Jews.

Hamas started the War 10/7. They are backed by AntiSemites and Nazism in elements of The State here in Europe. Hamas has repeatedly said it is sworn to Genocide. This is why The Re-formed Nazi Party supports Hamas and has been monitored doing so here in London, from 2014. Once these facts are said, the defeatists will be cast off like chaff in the wind, I can assure you. We are facing Nazism, and Nazism will be defeated once again.

Thank you Forest Rain .. excellent writing.

I’m a British Jew with 100% Israel in my fabric. My tears flow when a member of the IDF falls in Gaza, whereas any gazan death I view as a consequence of war, started by the heartless Hamas terrorists.

The huge disconnect that exists between this article and the major media U.K. platforms like the BBC, Guardian, Sky, LBC radio & even Times, Telegraph and the U.K. government is what sickens me. European countries calling for ‘the war to end now’ place the pressure squarely on Israel, and that is SHAMEFUL.

Hamas should release all the hostages immediately and lay down their weapons. Any losing military force would be called upon to surrender. Qatar, the arch supporter of Islamic terror claims to be the negotiating power, yet they provide the funds to both Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood .. Qatar are a duplicitous terrorist supporting nation.

The disconnect to which I refer, is why the mainstream misinformed public voice against Israel and Jews is at an unacceptable level and still rising.

Until mainstream media and politics call Hamas to surrender, the people of gaza will suffer.

Jews hating on Israel-many of them want to fit in with their liberal friends and colleagues. Being pro-Israel would mean their friends and livelihood could be damaged, so they go along with their liberal friends, with the Anti-Semites and with the Muslims. They are weak and should be ashamed of themselves for being so weak and stupid.

Since the beginning it was almost a guarantee that Jews’ opinions on any polarizing issue will span the full spectrum of available positions - including those untenable to the majority or sanity for that matter. So the fact that they exist isn’t too surprising or disturbing.

But general tendency towards arrogant ignorance and susceptibility to military grade propaganda is indeed a huge problem.

There is no easy fix, but there is no way around improved outreach, smart education, targeted PR and all those other things in which Pal-Iran-Hamas-Russia concerted PR efforts unfortunately outdo anything Israel’s friends are trying .

I think we are approaching the final stage of this conflict with the IDF entering areas where they think the hostages are. But what happens next is key. The Philadelphia corridor should never be given up and the top third of the strip should be permanently annexed to Israel. At this point I like the idea of arming certain factions in Gaza to govern the rest and fight Hamas.
