The Dems have all but telegraphed that their strategy going forward is to utterly condemn Israel (using the politest possible language, eg. “Israel is just another country”) as they pull back on DEI, Trans, Immigration, and other hot-button issues. The calculation is we sacrifice Israel, try to hold onto the Mamdani Jews, and head to the center on issues where they think they lose elections. Then, once in power, all bets are off regarding cultural issues and immigration as the Dems progressive DNA asserts itself, exactly as it did during the Biden administration. And the fiction of Israel “as just another country” is replaced with Mamdani level anti-Israel efforts.
I’ve never voted for a Republican in 50 years of voting. But I guess there’s a first time for everything.
