I met General Zamir many years ago; he is a true warrior and I would fight for him any time. He inspires confidence! He is a big believer of the greater Israel concept.
Enjoyed the article. When I saw the line "Much of what the Mossad accomplished in 2025 will never be known" I thought of my US Army career soldier Dad who retired in '68. He was in Army Intelligence in plainclothes and I once asked him what he'd done today before he retired and Pop just looked at me and smiled as he couldn't tell me anything which is surely what Mossad's response would be to my question. I read this quote 40 years ago and it applies here. "People sleep peaceably in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."
I will tell you that it takes good men to do terrible things in defence of the greater good. I have quite a bit of scar tissue on my heart from seven years in Spec Ops. I have nights when I say my prayers with tears on my face and night where I wake up screaming "why"! I made decisions/mistakes that I will never forgive myself for.
Would I do it over again... Yes, I have to admit it.
I wonder why the Lord called on me for these tasks..why!?
I pray that none of you have to be called on to do those deeds or make those decisions...
No - didn't do that - I saw you 98B and responded. In 1966/67 there were not more than a dozen or two taking Arabic. I knew a few. They even had Hebrew back then - it's gone now looking at their website.
Kudos to all of these heroes. In addition to Palantir, other corporations have supported Israel, such as Nvidia. Look for these companies. Buy their products. Invest in their stocks. It’s the opposite of the despicable divestment initiatives known as BDS.
Good list. I would like to see a list of Jews who shamed us. I wouldn't include leftist Jews by birth only like Bernie Sanders. They are already anathema. I would include Jews in a position to make a difference who failed us utterly. We could name it the Charles Schumer Annual Shame Award.
I do add cautionary notes to two of the heroes closely associated with our President. Trump's version of America First populism is a threat to Jewish safety. While these figures (Ellison, others) gain influence, proximity to power can legitimize extremist elements, including anti-semitic vocies. Also, when democratic guardrails weaken, minority protections often vanish. Trading long-term institutional stability for temporary political access is a gamble that risks the security of the broader Jewish community.
This is a very good list of people-Jews-Heros, both sung and unsung. I am pleased to see that Michael Rapaport is in the list. He is unyielding, unforgiving, unfiltered. Important and inspiring and a great watch every time.
Love what Paramount did: "Then, in November, news broke that a growing number of Hollywood actors and filmmakers who have voiced solidarity with “Palestine” were reportedly being blacklisted by Paramount. And for good reason."
That's the way to go -- on the offensive, not the defensive!!!
Great list. There are certainly many others that could be added. I will mention but 2: 1. Ben Shapiro who, whether you agree or not with his deeply conservative views, is a tireless advocate of Israel and the Jews. 2. Haviv Rettig Gur who is probably the best communicator in the blogosphere regarding Israeli recent history and the last 100 or so year history of the Palestinian people. Again, great article.

He is the type of warrior Israel needs...

We really need to add Bibi Netanyahu. As Trump put it, under another Prime Minister, Israel might have ceased to exist.

Thanks for holding up these heroes to the light. Celebrating them. Trusting that they will go from strength to strength. Feeling SO grateful for them.
Good choices. I would add Mark Levin and Sid Rosenberg to the list.
