This is not reporting. It’s not journalism. It’s not news. It’s political and ideological spin. And it’s eroding the very freedoms that give these outlets the right to free press in the first place.
You could have omitted the word “Media.” Based on comments from people like Chris Murphy, Bernie Sanders, AOC, Ro Khanna, and their ilk, it is evident that the left-wing wants the Islamic dictatorship to win.

Your article reminds me of one of the (liberal, progressive, Marxist) assumptions of our time: that “oppression” or suffering is the reason people resort to violent acts of revenge. One of my first understandings post 7/10 was: BS! If oppression was the cause of violent “resistance”, then, considering the proportion of humanity that are and have been oppressed in one way or another, we humans would have wiped each other out centuries ago. It’s not oppression but ideology that motivates actions such as 7/10 and attacks on synagogues. And when media cowards imply the opposite, it’s another chapter in “pay no attention to that man behind the curtain,” and we’re supposed to continue to believe the lie. It’s the perfect stage for the world’s oldest hate.
This is an incredibly powerful essay. How do we get this out there to the people who need to read it? The manipulation of events and the propaganda that is now everywhere is going to end very badly for all of us, not just the Jews!
After the attack on Temple Israel in the Detroit suburb, AP had a story which ran in our local newspaper in which they noted that the two brothers killed in Lebanon were "a busdriver" and a "soccer coach." No mention of their membership in Hezbollah. No mention of the fact that from March 2 to the posting of that article last week, Hezbollah had shot 800 rockets into northern Israel targeting civilians.
It read like a justification for the armed terrorist in Detroit to drive his vehicle, laden with explosives, into a synagogue having child care for 150 kids.

Now, we readers should engage in our personal hasbara, to circulate articles such as this amongst our left wing colleagues and friends, both Jewish and non-Jewish. Otherwise, all they see is the garbage from the mainstream media, and they absorb it as truth since they know nothing else.
So, my friends, today..........circulate Vanessa's column to 5-10 of your left wing friends and colleagues. Fight fake news and false opinions with real news.

Meanwhile, Joe Kent, the conspiracy nut who twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, associated with far-right extremist organizations, and was appointed director of the US Counterterrorism Center due to toadyism, was previously vilified by the NYT. Now that he has resigned, accusing the Zionist lobby of pulling the US into war with Iran, who "posed no imminent threat," he is being repeatedly lauded and thanked by NYT commentators for his "Integrity" as a "brave hero." For weeks prior to the war, the NYT had published several articles indicating that Trump wanted to attack Iran, regardless of Israel. How could a director of a counterintelligence center not realize that being listed as the #3 terrorism threat to the US for several years in a row while actively trying to obtain nuclear-warhead grade uranium did pose an imminent threat?
I simply cannot begin to understand these people. In particular, WHAT THE F*** DO THEY WANT? The media should realize that should their wet-dream come to fruition, and the world is transformed into a global banana republic, or an Ayatollah-run insane theocracy, their heads will be first on the chopping-block. OK, perhaps second. What incredibly delusional thinking they must have.
In all fairness, 'journalism' has always been a biased industry. Just look at the articles written prior to and during the American Civil War, or how the NYTs glowed about Lenin and Stalin, and downplayed Hitler's regime. What is different today is that the news media is nearly totally staffed by students of journalism from the most progressive schools. The traditional outlets are fighting for a decreasing market share as a result of alternative sources. So--in order to gain clicks, viewers, eyeballs the old adage of 'if its Jews its News' is begin done with a vengeance. Add to this the fomenting of Jewish hatred, the refusal of our education system to be an honest broker in teaching about complex issues and you have a receptive audience for the lies and biases the media are promoting.

The level of Jew hatred is high and colors the media perception of most events concerning Israel and Jews in general. You know something is not right when the most level headed reporting on the conflict in Iran involving the United States and Israel comes from Al Jazeera.
