The images and testimonies that emerged from Hamas’ October 7th attacks bear a chilling resemblance to the massacre of one of the world’s most ancient Jewish communities in 1929.
Fantastic article .. sadly too many ignorant and stupid fashionistas believe that a country called Palestine was taken by european colonialists .. even though the factual history, outlined in this excellent article will not provide a peaceful resolution. The Arab world has no real interest in the so called palestinians. They were expelled from Jordan in the 1970s. The UN, UNWRA, Western governments & NGOs perpetuation of refugee status serves 'no good' to the people.
The sad irony is that if Gaza had elected a moderate Arab political party in 2007 instead of Hamas, and then spent their development cash on social projects not military projects i.e. rockets and tunnels, they might have been given a state eventually. Not going to happen now. History as it might have been.
Yes, there are War Dead as Israel fought Hamas in Gaza in its successful pursuit of Sinwar ( the IAF bombing forced him above ground), but this is no more a 'Genocide' than the Allied bombing of Dresden at the End of World War Two. Also, the world and The UN offered The Palestinians their own State in 1948 in The West Bank but they refused.
We just celebrated our New Year 5785. Our continuing presence in the historical land of the Jews by no means comes with any guarantees of longevity nor stability. Confronting this horrific and unleashed war against Israel by seven perpetually hostile radical Islamic terrorist proxies fuelled by Iran may be the most existential threat ever facing the Jewish homeland. Observing the explosion of world Jew hatred is a demoralizing refection to what degree humanities values have plummeted.
Some very hard choices face this or any new Israeli government which we can only pray is adequately equipped to ensure that our homeland will survive, rebuild and thrive to welcome an ever increasing number of displaced Diaspora Jews who seek a safe haven from this international hate fest.
You know those burned out cars at the music festival were burned by the IDF as part of the Hannibal Directive, right?
Hamas came in with small arms. They wanted hostages, alive, as many as possible, to swap for their own 9,500 imprisoned people in Israeli detention facilities. Political prisoners, not criminals, note.
The IDF waited for a while, then came in with tanks and Apache helicopters and incendiaries. They blew massive holes in kibbutzes with the tanks. And they flew over, attacked and burned every car that was moving, on the premise that it might have a Hamas member in it, irrespective of whether it might have an Israeli in it (Hannibal).
The Hamas attack lasted less than 6 hours - just one morning from 6:30am to 12 noon.
The Israeli revenge has lasted 9000 hours, day and night.
What we need to do to put an end to this century long war, and the senseless death unleashed by rabid Palestinians for over a century as well, is to destroy the Al-Aksa mosque precisely because it has been used by Muslim Arabs to claim, falsely, that the Jews aim to destroy it. Not for nothing did Hamas label their invasion of Israel the Al-Aksa flood. So that the fanatical Palestinian Muslims who joined Hamas now as they heeded the Mufti in 1929 understand their game is over, they have to lose the very building they maliciously used to kill Jews. Loss of Al-Aksa, like the loss of any idea of a state, will put an end to this senseless spiral. It will also help the Jews by showing they mean business when they say there will be no Palestinian state west of the Jordan, showing themselves and showing the world. Ben-Gvir is not the pyromaniacal minister you make him out to be; he simply does not want any more days of mourning for the Jewish people because they indulge their enemies.
The Muslim world, so-called, will foam at the mouth and do nothing. What more can they do when Indonesia refuses to recognize Israel, Egypt allows munitions into Gaza through the tunnels, Erdogan slanders Israel non-stop? I have a friend who worries as you do that some Pakistani backpacker will carry a nuclear bomb into Israel. How likely is that? As for Russia and China, do you really think they give a damn about Muslim religious sensibilities and will risk war with Israel over the Al-Aksa mosque when Israel is about to take out Iranian assets tomorrow? The Jews always have reasons for not finishing off the Palestinians once and for all. And let us not forget: Israel too has nuclear weapons. Time to stop moaning about anti-Semitism. As Ben-Gvir and Smotrich say, the British are no longer running Palestine and their White Papers gather dust in the Foreign Office archives.
At any moment, Israel will be blown up with a nuclear bomb or the nuclear bomb will be detonated from Israel's income, and this will happen in the coming years.
We have monitored speakers for ten years here in London talking about Islamists walking nuclear bombs North to Moscow or China in payback for Chinese policy against Uyghurs, or Moscow's history in Afghanistan.
USA just announced no more military aid for Israel unless a magnificent something else is done for Gazans. This is simply hatred in action of the Jewish state, nation, land, and people. Israel suffered a massacre.
Lest we forget the 750,000 Jewish refugees that were forced by deathly violence from their Muslim countries of centuries. Leaving behind property, business, possessions. Fleeing on foot to Israel in 1948. After the Holocaust no country would take the Jews so Germany decided to send them to Israel. This is no form of colonialism, if anything it’s a formation of survival from genocide, Zionism is irrelevant, unless you’re of the Soviet mindset of course, we know what happened there.
The Zoroastrian’s of Persia also fled on foot to India under Muslim persecution.
There is a beautiful story I’d like to share about their plight.
The “Qissa e Sanjan,” which translates to “The Story of Sanjan,” was composed around the 17th century. It describes how the Zoroastrians, fleeing religious persecution from Muslim invasions in their Persian homeland many centuries earlier, head to Gujarat, in western India.
Once they arrive, they reach out to the local king, whom they call “Jadi Rana.” He agrees to give them land if they adopt local dress, language and some customs. However there is never any question about religious faith: They still practice their religion, and Jadi Rana is elated that these newcomers worship as they please. Parsi history has two versions of what took place.
In one, when the Zoroastrian refugees arrived in Gujarat, the king sends them a jar of milk filled to the top – his way of saying that his kingdom is full and there’s no room for any more people. In response, the newcomers stir in a spoonful of sugar and send it back to the king. In other words, not only do they promise to integrate with the local population, but that they’ll also enhance it with their presence.
In the other version, they drop a gold ring into the bowl to show they’ll retain their identity and culture, but they’ll nonetheless add immense value to the region.
These are both compelling narratives, though they make slightly different points. One extols the integration of immigrants, while the other highlights the value of different cultures living together but in harmony.

Unfortunately, many of them share their ignorance on Substack and other sites daily.

Hamas was established by israel. Palastinians had a state which is being stolen by means of genocide.
NOTHING justifies genocide, so piss off with your pathetic justifications.

Zionist terrorism must be eliminated because it is like cancer
Not as much as anti semitism 😘
Rubbish

6 : 9000
Rifles : 2000lb bombs.
David : Goliath (face it)
Liberate Palestine 🇵🇸
Thank you for this excellent piece. Because this hatred and murder of innocents will never cease, Israel must never give back one millimeter of land.

I can't think of a better way to truly unite the Muslim world than that. Add to them Russia and China and Israel will be crushed.

Nothing will unite the Muslim World; you are deluded if you think that. They have been divided since 680.

What's wrong with that? Why attack Ben-Gvir?
