Oddly enough, I just listened to his episode on Josh Szeps’ podcast today re: his book “The War on the West.” I found him very intelligent and interesting. Big picture thinker who actually considers context, and he has moral clarity and the courage to speak it. These are all very refreshing qualities b/c, unfortunately, he’s a dinosaur. Some ppl disregard him as conservative but he doesn’t appear to be interested in taking sides.

I’m from the UK. I am an avid admirer of Murray. He speaks with a common sense attitude. He certainly doesn’t suffer fools gladly!

Since October 7, Murray has become one of my favorite journalists, not only for his even-handed and empirical approach to covering the war, but also for his scalding one liners in debate. His bluntness is refreshing in a world of obfuscation. As for rooting for the underdog, which is definitely a phenomenon here, we should leave that to NY Mets fans.
