I’ve been to Israel once and we flew EL AL. There is nothing like the emotional experience of the passengers singing HaTikvah when the plane touches down.
One of our flights was right after the Yom Kippur war when I volunteered to help on a Kibbutz. Have never experienced something so emotional that when we were landing in Lod, the passengers were crying and singing Hatikvah. Yes, tickets are more expensive but you are supporting a country not just a business.
