Footage??? What no footage? (the usual refrain of the "world") on the atrocities of 10.7.
What about the footage from "hamas body cams" of human rapes, decapitations, throwing our babies into ovens while raping and butchering the mothers during October 7 2023? Does that count?
The so called op ed journalist Nicholos Kristof (a nice Christian name - whose father was actually Polish/Romanian? ) Kristoff studied Arabic in Egypt for the 1983–84 academic year at the American University in Cairo.
From his many anti Jew/Israeli articles he is apparently in bed with his Arabic speaking bros who founded Geneva based NGOs MENA rightsorg et al and Project MENA, they not only produce fantasy horror videos on Youtube providing so called "evidence" of Har Hermon and Banyas as the "gateways" to hell (from Matthew in the NT) they lay out the connections of "evil" to the allegation/blood libel claim that a Polish Jewish freemason killed prostitutes in London and was supposedly (Jack the Ripper). As if blood libel accusations of an *evil* Polish Jew sacrificing English prostitutes in 1880s London wasn't enough - Now they are reverting back to the old bestiality canards of yesteryear - this time with dogs.

I remember as a TV/Journalism student in 1980, all of our professors imploring us to always read the NY Times. After all, it was the holy bible for journalism. Only facts, we were told. I was hooked. Then in 2003 the Jason Blair story broke which gave me pause. Blair a NYT reporter was investigated and was forced to resign for plagiarizing 36 of 73 from 2002 to 2003. I was glad the NYT had standards. I kept reading dutifully. I remember friends telling me that some of their articles were antisemitic. I told them that it was still important to read these articles to be able to refute them.
Then October 7, 2023 happened. I turned to the NYT for “facts.” Nothing!
I still remember their front page story reporting of a hospital in Gaza being bombed on October 19, 2023 killing hundreds. As I started reading other sources about the atrocities reported by the NYT, there was no evidence of that happening. The NYT times buried a retraction of the hospital bombing claiming they relied on Hamas reporting to run the story.
I called and wrote the NYT and asked them “how they could call themselves a beacon of journalism?” They apologized. The damage was done. After 43 years of reading the NYT, I canceled my subscription.
Same here! I canceled as soon as I found baseless dribble they called journalism. Then I looked at the authors’ and newly appointed editors’ names and understood the NYT had turned to propaganda and undocumented lies. For 40 years I was a fan of each section. No more!
Even after reading an essay such as this, I still try to find at least one positive. I am from Wisconsin where we do a lot of fishing on Lake Michigan and our inland lakes. The print copy of "The Times" is perfect for wrapping up fish guts and other stinking garbage before going into the compost.
The NYT was a paper in my parent's household for years. I especially liked the Sunday Magazine that had great articles about artists and the happenings in Manhattan. In those days, some of their articles were not Jew friendly, but they were good at casting a veil over them. Now they have no shame and blatantly lie. As you said, Joshua, they clothe it in 'opinion' thinking that they're sly, but for many, it has become all too visible. After the Times was awarded a Pulitzer for the Russia Collusion Hoax articles, I was done. I read Kristof's piece of opinion fiction, which by the way, opinion subtly appearing as fact is all the NYT seems to do. Absurdly humorous in how it was written, never naming 'sources,' using al Jazeera, the BBC, and Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor (anything with Human Rights, beware) a left-leaning organization, and thinking those were legitimate sources of all that is newsworthy. And recently a NYT's journalist given a Pulitzer for the fake photo of the 'starving' child in Gaza, even after it was proven to be a lie. It's evident Pulitzer is as without merit as the NYT. But they're not alone, for people like Medhi Hassan, who interviewed a Holocaust survivor, an anti-Zionist and believer that Israel committed genocide has become an all too familiar narrative. If it fits the Jew hatred that permeates news, interviews, podcasts, then it's all good, especially if they can get a Jew to reinforce it; makes it all the more plausible.
NYT lied not just above atrocities against Jews; they covered for Stalin hiding the starvation of Ukrainians before WW2. Walter Duranty, the New York Times’ man in Moscow, outright lied about the events, deliberately misleading his readers. In 1932, he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for reporting. The antisemitism at the New York Times is not hidden — it is on full display, column after column, year after year. What's harder to explain is the Jewish community's response to it: continued subscriptions, uncritical readership, and the bizarre habit of citing the Times as a credible authority on Israel in our own internal debates. At some point the paper's hatred becomes less shocking than our own willingness to absorb it. We are not victims of the Times — we are its willing audience. Until that changes, nothing else will.
If even a fraction of the Jews who religiously read, share, and defend the New York Times gave that same energy to this site, we'd be in a very different place. The contrast is staggering — a paper openly hostile to Jews commands our community's loyalty while outlets actually fighting for us struggle for attention.
