No wonder the woke have come to consider math racist. Abraham Wyner reminds me of Harry Markopolos, the finance guy who found a linear progression in Bernie Madoff’s returns. Investment portfolios never produce linear growth. War doesn’t produce linear growth in casualties either.

What a perfect world the Hamas Health Ministry lives in, when each day, a meticulous counting of bodies can create such a beautifully drawn graph. I saw this in the morning paper and couldn't help but think how high school students could create this graph, but then I thought this must have been UNRWA's classroom lessons on how to fudge numbers. The pathetic part is that so many believe this.

I keep forgetting to mention this other random thought that enters my mind every time I see the word "hostages" printed somewhere. Why does no one demand (including the U.N.) that the Red Cross visit the hostages and thereby get an accurate accounting of the number alive, as well as their condition? Even the Nazis allowed the Red Cross to visit a "model camp" (Theresienstadt). It was a "fake" presentation but that was the norm back then. Seems like a lot of things have changed since WW 2. As far as going forward with any talk regarding a solution, that would be my first demand; nothing continues until we get a report from a trustworthy group. It's a fair request. Of course, if they cannot produce any hostages, i.e., if they are all deceased (hopefully not), that changes everything, does it not?

A problem with raising the cooking of these stats is that people may treat it as a quibble over what the correct numbers are in the context of a destructive war that most likely has a high human cost. Looking at the extent to which Gaza's cities have been reduced to rubble (as seen in many pictures and videos now) one may reason that you can't do that to a densely populated place without incurring a large number of civilian casualties, no matter how carefully you go about it. Anyone who's appalled by the loss of civilian life in this war can thus point to the levels of destruction to suggest that even if the stats are cooked, the real civilian casualty rate is not likely to look much better. If they blame Israeli government and the IDF for carrying out the bombings and attacks that cause the destruction then I doubt that finding genuine fault with what appears to be the only available casualty figures will cause a change of heart all by itself.

I find it ridiculous that the so called Gaza Ministry of Health is quoted as gospel; it being part of the elected terrorist Hamas government of Gaza. Fake Fake Fake!

This was featured in the British Telegraph yesterday! It really is what we all knew! Lies and manipulation, what is so stupid is that world believed the lies. Others understood that Hamas are pathological liars.
