Lucy expresses herself extremely well, has great insight, and always gets it right. The great "crime" of Jews is that we still survive, despite the incredible hate, violence, and hypocrisy we face. The even greater crime is that Jews returned to Israel and now have their own military so are able to fight back and, to an extent, protect its people. What is outrageous and frustrating to the Jew haters is, to date, Hashem has given Israel the ability, strength, and resolve to rebuff all efforts at destruction. All else is commentary.

Meanwhile, over here in the “civilized and educated” US, we have college students terrorizing Jewish students while wearing that stupid Tablecloth of Hate. Great article. Jews are the eternal scapegoat, and Israel is the Jew of nations. However, it is not just anti-Zionist Jews who provide moral cover or an alibi. Liberal/progressive Jews do so, as well. These Jews profess Zionism but, based on the lies told by the media and NGOs, provide only lukewarm support for Israel or distance themselves from Israel altogether. Their Zionism is contingent upon Israel meeting the impossible double standard imposed by the world. The board at my former synagogue (Reform) recently took down its “We Stand With Israel” sign because members were concerned about how the message was understood and objected about how Israel was conducting the war - whatever the hell that means. This type of gesture, which is really anti-Zionism masquerading as virtue and morality, fuels claims from the Islamists and the left that even Jews recognize the supposed crimes of Israel, further strengthening those who use Israel as a scapegoat. The arrogance and moral superiority of too many Jews in the Diaspora does lasting damage to Israel and Zionism.

It feels as though every common sense lesson - particularly of the 'Never Again' variety - has now been trashed and that the teachers, the professors, the leaders, the 'wise men' all confidently tell us that 2+2=5.
That everything in which we believed was actually a crime for which we must do penance and (obviously) pay reparations.
And if we dare to protest, the consequences will range from years of imprisonment for a social media post, via being removed from one's job and placed in hiding for showing a picture to a school class, to actually being shot, decapitated or blown to pieces on our streets for whatever a dishcloth-wearing 'freedom fighter' deems offensive.
This is a world wide Muslim religious war...10 more years...no country has the guts to shut it down..they are all scared of their supermarket being blown up
