Great article. Tidbit: Dad’s uncle Melvin was WW2 and always insisted that the Red Cross was political. He despised it. Although he was a naval underwater specialist, at some point he was involved in the European (Holocaust) theater and as a kid dad heard him talk about the RC role in assisting nazis to flee. Rome’s Conspiracy—a benevolent appearing cover of spies, contraband and black market arms movement. Israel should be rid of Red Cross involvement. Hamas has zero right for negotiation or conditions.

As an aside, their major in Wooster, Ohio, was the only clergy at public events who made her prayers non-denominational. The veterans who ran ceremonies for Veteran’s Day and Memorial Day declined to ask the other clergy not to subject us to public prayer "in Jesus’ name”.

He told me more than once about how when they assaulted the Philippine islands that the Salvation Army was already there on the beach distributing hot coffee and snacks during the fighting.

Many years ago the Red Cross was implicated in a massive scandal involving the embezzlement of funds. So it comes as no surprise to me that they align themselves with terrorists - or more precisely, the terrorists' financial backers - these days.
I remember the tainted blood scandal in Canada. During the early years of the AIDS epidemic the Canadian Red Cross which was then tasked with taking blood from donors for medical purposes in order to be politically correct refused to screen out gays who were the only carriers of the illness from the process. Consequently some of the recipients of this tainted blood became sick and some of them died. After that the Canadian Red Cross was dismissed from doing this work and a new agency called Canadian Blood Services was established to take over.
Every international body is only as moral as its constituent states. When the majority are Jew hating autocratic thugocracies and the rest desperately trying to appease them while simultaneously harboring their own deep seated antisemitic tendencies, this is the inevitable result.
I honestly want our next administration, here in Canada, to disband the Red Cross, or at least, look into it's dealings and charge them with being complicit in war crimes. Only Pierre Poilevre, would do such a thing. The Liberal party is corrupt, NDP too.
I believe that long ago the Israeli government should have given the Red Cross an ultimatum that if they don't visit the hostages Israel will deny all their people visas and force them to leave Gaza. Like you said, failing to visit the hostages was a betrayal of the Red Cross's own principles and makes a mockery of their claim to be a humanitarian organization.
Years ago, I had read that most of the donations sent to the Red Cross were used for the Red Cross and not the people they were suppose to support. Nothing surprises me about the Red Cross. I was dismayed about their "cordial relations" with the Nazis but not shocked. The Red Cross with other honorable sounding titles are sham organizations. If we are to ask the question as you have, Joshua, "how is this not the scandal of the decade?" The answer is one we know, when Jews are involved, they look the other way. These organizations should be investigated for the corruption going on and in full display, having ignored the hostages. It's long overdue for these organizations to be dismantled.

The Salvation Army though is now woke. However they aren’t criminals like the Red Cross.
