The Labour Party is poised to win the UK election this week. Soon-to-be Prime Minister Keir Starmer may claim to have purged his party of antisemitism, but British Jews remain worried. Rightly so.
Britain will not shed it’s antisemitism. It has been overrun by Muslims which stated in the 60’s and 70’s. England welcomed them in, especially the Pakistani’s, and they have built entire Islamic Villages…it’s too late and Jews have every right and reason to be worried
Thank you for this truthful and clear piece. The thought of this Labour Party taking power is very frightening. There is no way that the party has been purged of anti semitism. It is alive and well, I am sure it will get worse. I fear that Israel will no longer have the support of this Country. Britain is going into uncharted territory, British Jews and Israel will need all the support we can give them.
Islam has slowly, but surely taken their time to infiltrate and they have managed quite easily to exercise grave control. The Brits are in a serious quandary. It may be too late to alter their predicament.
It's always an astounding thing to me that good people allow those who hate them and honestly wish them dead to move in and take over. Very odd! Very foolish!
“Britain’s Jews number only about 287,000. They do not have the political clout of the country’s 3.8 million Muslims, including an alarming number of Islamists who have their claws deeply into the soon-to-be-in-power Labour Party.”
It’s high time that the Jews voluntarily exit Britain! Shades of the 13th century.
This article is pure scare mongering! The Labour Party is very different to that of only 3 or 4 years ago, witnessed by the fact that Louise Ellman and Luciana Berger, Jewish MP's who were hounded out of the Party have rejoined, whilst Margaret Hodge, also a Jewish MP retiring at this election, speaks openly and positively about the change Keir Starmer has made. There is very little prospect of a return to the anti-semitism witnessed under Corbyn and most of the extreme left have left the Party, some of whom have found a new home in the Green Party. Yes there are a small number of Labour MP's who are anti-Zionist but this is not significant - and it is not helpful to big this up. And yes, the Labour Party is struggling with its position on transgender rights but there is no generalised 'wokism'. I think recent polling suggests that the majority of the Jewish community in the UK is supporting Labour in this General Election, contrary to the article's perspective, although not by a big margin. I'd be more worried by the hint of anti-semitism invoked when a Jewish senior Conservative MP and current Minister of Defence, Grant Shapps, thinks it appropriate to slur Keir Starmer only yesterday for protecting Friday nights with his Jewish wife and children and lighting Shabbat candles, suggesting he was unfit to be Prime Minister as he wouldn't be on the job 24/7! How low can you get.
Time will tell. Politicians tend to do all sorts of weird, unusual and against their grain in order to be elected. Sadly one does not see their true politics until it is too late. 🥺

You could not be more correct. A monumental error by the Brits.

Promote and support legislation outlawing kufarphobia.
The odd part is, Keir starmer is a practicing Jew so I would assume that is a net positive

Britain sucks.

I too, considering the mess England is, was shocked to hear that.
