Reading this makes me nauseous with the realization of just how despicable humans beings can still be. It appears we’ve learned nothing since Auschwitz. Antisemitism is alive and well in the 21st century and these sick maggots prove over and over again why Israel must be fought for and defended at all costs.

100% correct. Funny you use the term "maggots." I think of it as cockroaches under the floorboards, and every so often they emerge. If you take the time to look under the floorboards, you will always find some.

Very important topic. And there's another aspect of it that doesn't get coverage because we don't have good data on it other than anecdotal stories: Jewish people who have been forced to find new therapists because their therapist decided to lecture them about Israel and Gaza after the client opened up about their antisemitism-related stress or anxiety.

This is a symptom of a much larger problem in many professions, where professional codes of ethics have been turned on their heads as students are being taught that their primary obligation is to be a social justice activist.

When I searched for a therapist last year on the psych today website I specified that I wanted a woman and “Jewish.” Only 3 professionals were listed out of the entire US. They weren’t Jewish but when I interviewed them they were sensitive to the Jewish plight.

Thank you for this well written article full of accurate information. You have confirmed what I and many friends have experienced and thankfully, we are having normal responses to an abnormal situation. I agree that many of us are leaning in rather than turning away. I have friends that scare me with their openness but I admire their bravery.

Well done. The diaspora has never been “home,” even when we contribute more than our share. Perpetual “guests” in someone else’s country. Living among antisemites who consider themselves our landlords. If you pay attention, the stress is unavoidable. If you ignore it, you are screwed.

Here's how it affected me (New York Jew, now living in West Palm, age 69).

* My first thought was "enough."

* I was angry.

* I started listening to and reading a lot of commentators and I starting learning a lot that I didn't know before.

* My biggest reaction was the realization that Jews have gone through so much for so long, and we always persevere. Yes, we remember the past, but we also move forward and figure out a new niche, a new way to be productive. I stopped having any patience for groups / minorities who claim victimhood and oppression. You could say I adopted the exact opposite of the oppressor / oppression woke ideology we hear so much about. It's more of a "yeah that sucks, and what are you going to do next to make your life better?"

* And finally, there was a change in my perception of global politics and how the U.S. fits into that. I don't want a caliphate or a communist state here or anywhere else. I stand by western values 100%. And the U.S. having hundreds of bases around the world and lots of military might suddenly didn't sound too expensive or too intrusive. I like that we exert our influence around the world and I want us to control keeping things under control.

I guess you could say that this once upon a time 1960s / 70s leftie has morphed into a Rockefeller Republican.

What is the psychology of Jews who find that it is Israel that is the source of their suffering and that the best way to deal with this is to side with those who'd murder you. What is that called...what is that termed under? What is to tell children to hide their identity? Hide one's own identity. Apparently some British Jews answered that it is the actions of Israel/ or existence of Israel? rather than their Muslim fellow citizens that makes them feel unsafe. Ironic that Herzl thought a state would normalize the Jewish predicament.

Last week I was notified that I would be arrested if I entered England. Apparently, freedom has gone completely away in the (Not so) Great Britain! I was warned off by friends I have in the British Security Services, or I would have been tackled getting off the plane in April.

I truth I expected that; I have getting a “blow by blow” of the collapse of England. This is so sad, so many good times spent with my friends in the BAOR!

Out of left field, I have been professionally cancelled! I received a letter from a company that I was doing a collaboration within Europe. I am not going to give more details as my attorney has made clear that it would make it worse if I mentioned “Fokker Next Gen” (Oops...).

Since Hyenas rove in pacts, it is likely my brilliant career as an Aerospace Process Engineer is over. As it was I was planning to retire in the next two years while finishing my contract positions. I haver plenty of money so please don’t send blankets and cans of Cambell Soup!

This is actually good because it will give me more time to work with the militia we formed and my studies of the Torah which has become a three year expedition so far (Thanks Surak)! It just makes me sad that I won’t be around to mentor and develop future engineers in a time when we are really off course and technology substitutes for skill and imagination. There is one exception and that is the work I will do for Israel; I will give the best of what I have left to Israel!

Well, that is it for my whining...

I have no regrets, I stand by my free nation (USA), the Holy Land and Greater Israel with my Life!

We did decide on a motto for “Sword of God Militia”...

Be strong, Be Brave, Be Faithful!

God Bless you all!

Thank you for analyzing the psychological effects on Diaspora Jews ✡️ as a result of the 7th October 23 pogrom.

You described it as: “intergenerational trauma” or “transgenerational trauma.” And it awakened an ancient fear in the Jewish psyche."

Assuming that your observations are correct, what exactly are Diaspora Jews doing about this grave global situation?

How are they reacting?

Why don't we see hundreds of thousands or even millions of Jews making Aliyah?

What are they waiting for, another Holocaust to save their souls and their 👪 families?

Why don't they come and share the burden of defending the only Jewish State on this planet?

Without Israel, there will be no Jewish nation and eventually the end of Judaism and our Torah.

They may contemplate: yes, we survived 2,000 years, the Torah protected our nation.

This is 2026, the world is changing at quantum speed.
