Spot on: “ Palestinian activists … appear to agree with Hamas that, in Israel, nobody is a civilian, while in Gaza, nobody is a combatant.” I also like the comparison of “From the river to the sea …” with “Heil Hitler.”
A wonderful, and indeed very useful, compendium of points to think about, discuss, and put to those who are thinking and acting very differently. As such, this responsibly helps free thought and serves the search for truth and its conscientious ethical response. Thank you so much, Joshua. It is very much appreciated.
Our gifted comedians would have no trouble finding material for monologues among the absurdities you articulate, if only there weren’t so much to cry about . . .
Whatever Israel does will be wrong in the eyes of these deluded people! I pray that you continue to follow this course, it’s the only way! Whether they like it or not, the West needs Israel desperately.
I need to reflect on what I've read here. Radical Islam is a serious problem for the likes of me. Agreed. But, with a score, so far, of about 1,300 to 25,000, proportionality, the emergence of righteous certitude and multiple wrongs not making a right are giving succour to folk who appear never to have read a book. The ignorance on both sides of this "war", the intransigence of fanatics, Hamas, Israeli cabinet, will ensure prolonged suffering for all but the fanatics. God is on no-one's side.
The Israeli cabinet is only as "fanatical" as Islamist terrorists force them to be.
I used to be liberal. Now that New York City is devolving back into its old 1970s self, I find myself loathing the elements that have once again made it so. The same old, same old vicious elements that now style themselves as victims. And now we have no one reining them in.
"Reverse psychology is a technique involving the assertion of a belief or behavior that is opposite to the one desired, with the expectation that this approach will encourage the subject of the persuasion to do what is actually desired." wiki
Another excellent piece, Joshua. I’m thinking you meant to include *not* in this sentence — “Palestinian terrorists unleashed the most cruel and unusual behaviors on October 7th, massacring some 1,200 people and kidnapping 240 others, including children, while shouting “Allah is the greatest!” — yet many folks in the West somehow think that their core values are *not* in line with radical Islam.”

Perhaps it's time for some reverse psychology.

Thanks! And no, I meant that many people are rooting for the radical Islamist in the West, such as “Gays for Gaza.”
Russia did not start the ear in Ukraine.
They did not even fire the opening salvos.
Ukraine and the CIA started the war and there is no question about it.
Ukraine corruption extends to Biden and beyond.
The ueonicpart is the Deep State playground that was Ukraine is no more robust but a pale shadow of itself.
