Thank you Joshua for this truly outstanding piece. Whilst the airspace used by IAF may eventually be revealed, the element of surprise needs no further analysis. Now that the desert heat is receding, IAF has resumed ad lib sorties as expected. As anticipated, the first two weeks of September have seen resumption of successful sorties over Syria (Homs, Palmyra and Tartus) and Qatar. Iran will be hosting IAF sorties shortly to support the fracturing of Iran. Establishment of a secure and independent Kurdish region (northwestern Iran), Arab region (southern area on the Persian gulf shores), Bakhtiari region (southwestern area west of the Arab region), and a volatile southeastern Baluchistan will herald Iranian theocracy terminal state which will gradually yield multiple new countries as well as the expansion of Azerbaijan. Qatar, Bahrain, UAE and Saudi Arabia will be relying upon US CENTCOM to remain the sheriff in town. The continued emergence of a neighborhood consistent with long term Israeli survival and leadership as the sole regional nuclear power will be written in stone. The Palestinian issue can fade into oblivion and regional economic and security mutually beneficial relations can become entrenched. This can become the long legacy of 07 October 2023. From existential crisis can emerge sustainability. Please read Ambassador Oren’s “2048” to understand how the rest can evolve for Israel to help itself and its neighbors coexist long term. Shanah Tovah and Am Yisrael Chai everyone!!

I feel like I am living in an alternate universe. It used to be that if a Country harbored terrorists *they* were the pariah state, and any and all attacks were completely justified in the name of vanquishing said terrorists

This new year the main prayer on my lips will be for our continued moral clarity and courage, and for some freaking sanity for the rest of the world

I wish this great piece was also an op ed in the New York Times. Actually as long as I’m wishing —- on the front page of the New York Times. Outstanding analysis.

Qatar has been buying influence, sheltering Hamas and acting as a "neutral mediator", while attempting to play Trum for a fool. Yesterday, the IAF sent a message that you don't play Trump for a sucker

Brilliant, Joshua. While Israel is daily lied about as targeting women and kids in a lean-to in Gaza, the truth is that on the highest strategic military and moral level Israel is actually zeroed in on the POS duplicitous nation that bankrolls terrorists while the West panders because of Qatari seductions. This was a missile to the West. And Trump’s stillness on Israel’s calculated move shows that he was not in the least bamboozled by the red carpet or airplane charade in any way. He has his own red carpets and planes. ‘Shake my tanned hand, dear Sultan of Swag and btw Bibi is busy over behind your pool house as we dine.’ Gleaming smile. This is big.

Let’s not forget that Qatar gives our universities millions of dollars to support their hatred of the west. Just take a look at our young people who hate America and the wave of antisemitism that “appeared” on October 8th across the world. They are not our ally. God bless the brave IAF and Israel.

Striking hard immediately after the Hamas attack in Remot will teach the terror masters a lasting lesson.

Qatar is playing a duplicitous game and got burnt. The most telling line in this article, to me, is "Indeed, the relative silence of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates is telling." Iran and its proxies are anathema to most of the Arab world in the region because, to keep it clean, they want to urinate in the punchbowl. Strange, I must have missed it, but I didn't hear this "sovereignty" jazz when the B-2 strikes occured on Fordow and the other nuclear sites.

Israel should not escalate... I mean if they provoke Palestinians more, the latter might shoot up buses, murder and rape civilians, fire rockets at residential districts and start paying terrorists to kill Jews.

Quatar might even start harboring senior Hamas leadership.

Oh wait...

Thank you, Joshua. I wonder how many of our U.S. politicians take money from Qatar?

By hosting terror; Qatar is also keeping it out of their borders. They will sell their souls to avoid internal violence.
