Jews who live in New York City cannot even agree that Zohran Mamdani is their enemy. An enemy out to destroy them. They think some charm school approach will appease his hatred of Jews and Israel. They are dangerously mistaken. Naïveté or just plain stupidity?

Those are probably the same Jews who think Trump is a nazi and antisemite, even with all the evidence to the contrary.

Please, I am asking you nicely to refrain from speaking for others. Limit your replies from only yourself. Clumping us all into your opinion isn't okay to do. I'm reading about mitzvahs on this page & since it appears that the meaning of the word is unclear to those posting it I will clarify for you all. A mitzvah is a GOOD DEED.

The obsession some Jews have with not making the gentiles mad reminds of that classic joke where the two Jews are condemned to death by firing squad and one asks for a cigarette and the other one says "shush. Don't make trouble."

"The university in question should not just be sued but sued for its entire endowment, as well as full repayment of all tuitions paid by Jewish students..." which I think is a capital idea. As to the UN, I think the US should leave this worthless body and remove them from Turtle Bay immediately and send them to one of the pesthole countries like Somalia or Yemen. As I heard at a drag racing track years ago "Go big or go home" regarding fighting anti-semitism.

In say keep the United Nations in NYC. Why? Because as Don Corleone said, “keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer”. Raise the rent but keep it in NYC.

I've often commented that Jews have been targets for centuries, because we were usually soft targets. Now Israel is showing it's a hard target, so maybe its neighbors will fear it enough to leave it alone. However Jews in the diaspora have a long way to go, to attain such fear or at least respect. Every time I hear about some random Jew being sucker punched on a NYC street, I hope the story will conclude with, "Afterwards, the victim stomped the hater's guts out." But, alas, I never see that. Since we have no real golems to protect us, we have to do it ourselves, whether thru physical self defense, doxxing of haters, court actions or other legal means.

My older daughter has a 3rd degree black belt in Taikwando and has taught self defense classes for women. I think we need more of the same! Lots of firearm training, too, just in case.

"There is shame in using it against defenseless women and children"

Take it up with the Hamassholes who use those defenseless women & children as human shields --- the shame is THEIRS.

It is THEY who are the perpetrators here, and you are implicitly excusing (and enabling) their heartless viciousness.

Just in case anyone doubts the urgency and validity of your analogy and suggestions here is a video of the founder of Jihad Watch. The real war is not about 'antisemitism'. The real war is about how to completely defeat jihad. First of all 'know thy enemy'. The founder of Jihad Watch speaks for about 30 minutes. Then he takes questions. We can not hear the questions... yet every one of his answers is clear and ever more informative. THIS should be part of the 'education' proposed for ending 'anti-semitism'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V09-YRgX0WA&t=4308s

Reading this certainly opened my mind to new ideas. I was totally with you for the first 9-10 paragraphs. Yes, we need to think big and counter-attack with energy and courage. We certainly celebrate Israel’s incredible feats throughout its history. I may agree with your premise, but I begin to falter when you write of dismantling those institutions which are currently nourishing Jew hatred. This seems to me to border on anarchy. Formerly-respected media outlets should be forced to change their current practices, to return to balanced reportage that informs the world with truth, to admit it when they are unable to access that truth. Universities must stop teaching hatred and concentrate on training young minds to solve the world’s problems. Who will make this happen if not other institutions? In the Diaspora, we must use our strengths to weed out their antisemitism and to support their return to sanity. THAT is thinking big.

We did have an organization at one time which was like what you describe. It was the Jewish Defense League founded by Rabbi Kahane. He was ahead of his time. Unfortunately, it was destroyed in large part by the liberal Jewish establishment. Kahane must be spinning in his grave right now.

As a Jewish woman, I am confident that anyone posting comments must educate themselves 💯 before hitting the send button. Genocide Donald has been proven to say one thing while doing another. What does "catamitic" mean here? - The best method, therefore, might be the founding of a new organization whose sole purpose is to act upon the principle of massive retaliation. It could operate independently of the Jewish establishment, which is largely catamitic, and would likely be far more effective as a result. Is it not like the Irgun or the Stern Gang in the 1930'-1948 era

Submissive/passive in a sexual way - from catamite, an underange male concubine. Obviously a derogatory term.

Yes, I had to look it up, and I am reasonably well- read.
