The lie is there is a "solution." The Jews and the Israelis want there to be an Israel. The Palestinians (and the international community) do not. There is no middle. Many of both the Palestinians and international community parsitically gain wealth and prestige off of the conflict. As parasites, they suck as much blood and treasure as they can without killing the host, yet.

The solution is to expel the "palestinians", Arab nations should be forced to take them in.

Of course, it is obvious that a "palestinian" state will lead to civil war amongst the various terror factions; the PA, fatah, hamas, islamic jihad etc. because they are barbaric 7th century savages with a barbaric, primitive culture. It certainly will not be a "free palestine", it will be an oppressive and brutal violator of human rights under sharia law. The people pushing for 2 states are well aware of this but don't give a shit what happens to the "palestinians" under such a dictatorship because for them the only purpose the "palestinians" have is merely to be exploited and weaponized against Israel. The advocates for "palestine" are just rabid antisemites who are really only about obliterating Israel. The "palestinians" themselves are too stupid, brainwashed and full of Jew-hatred themselves to notice they are being used and that their lives are worthless to these left-wing westerners. Israelis are actually the only people in the world who have helped the palestinians.

You have expressed many things that I have thought myself. I agree that the Arab states, of which there are 22, should deal with these people.

Pompous and Conceited judgement from the ICJ and the Anti-Semitic elements which lurk in the corners of the International community: Everyone KNOWS the Palestinians would use such an entity to rearm for a War against Israel. We have monitored Hamas in Formal Alliance with The (Re-formed) Nazi Party here in London from 2013, and they are sworn to a War of Genocide against The Jewish People. So, in Military law, the occupation is completely justified. It is preventing another mass-murder against the Jewish People of Israel by Hamas and Islamist fellow travellers and their backers like Iran.

It is folly to expect imagination from unimaginative people. Once upon a long time ago, as a young engineer, I would sit in meetings where new ideas were routinely shot down with the comment, "We can't do that because (insert your pet reason here).". That is why our Chief Engineer posted a motto on his wall which said, " Can we find at least one reason, regardless how impractical it may sound, why and how it can be done?". Occasionally, he would need to remind everyone that just because everyone else says "no", that does not necessarily mean it can't be done. When I became the Chief, I adopted that motto for myself. The people who are enamored of the two estate solution, regardless out of selfishness or just plain ignorance, need to be pushed aside. Unfortunately, that will not be easy nor will it be pretty.

I am no expert, but I truly believe that the only chance for peace is deradicalization, and a complete overhaul in the Palestinian identity as an occupied victim and eternal refugee. Their story is not one and the same with say that of Ireland or Scotland, or even the history of the US and others. Acceptance that there is no right of return to a land you haven’t known for three generations, a land that changed as a risk for declaring war against a people in an attempt to ethnically cleanse it.

" A two state solution", it is a safe and prudent sounding thing to say for politicians: it has no consequences..

They know Israel could never accept the security risks involved and for sure, the Palestinians are too divided to establish a viable and peaceful nation of their own.

It would nevertheless be in Israel's best interest to breach the present status quo to prevent another october, 7th.

Indeed, mr. Kaplan's suggestions like 'a single state with a Palestinian autonomous zone, a single state with Palestinians granted permanent residence, or a confederation of Israel and “Palestine' could be interesting ideas to discuss during a peace conference.

Isn't mr. Fayyad (currently lectoring at Princeton) available ?

I don’t agree with a confederation idea, not sustainable for the very reasons you mentioned, but with the rest yes 😊

Ironic that Biden, almost from the beginning of his presidency, decried the democratically elected Netanyahu administration as the most right wing in Israel's history, while at the same time advocating for the establishment of an Islamic theocracy by calling for a Palestinian state.

There is an unpleasant reality that the West must face - the Arabs do not do well when attempting to become democratic. Historically, it ends up as "one man, one vote, ONCE." Since somehow the winners of the elections are nearly always Islamists, and always authoritarian, democracy dies a quick death.

If Israel must rule in a military administration over lands turned over to "Palestinian" authorities, granting them limited local autonomy, so be it. The residents would still be better off that residents of surrounding Arab countries.

There has to be an option for Arabs to willfully relocate with proper compensation. With all the brainwashing, still there are those who harbor a desire to get away from a futureless reality.

My solution is even more radical - a world wide ban on Islam. It should not be protected as a religion when it is a totalitarian, death-worshipping murderous cult.

Please name one good thing this cult brought to the world.

Two states solution ???......that's utterly a crazy proposition.....Israel is being attacked from the very start, in 1948, and always.....the Palestinians never wanted two states.......they hate the jews, the jews are in their land, Israel, the land of our forefathers .....we certainly don't need this kind of neighbors !!!!

The prospect for corruption, authoritarianism and civil war in the Palestinian entities is the only positive aspect of the two state solution. After their public reactions to October 7, Palestinians deserve no better.
