If it happened today Adi Amin would be celebrated as a freedom fighter by the left and Vance would be telling Israeli to just let it go.

To some Jews and others wringing their hands over the deaths of “innocent Palestinians” during the raid on Nuseirat I have a message: Grow a backbone! These so-called innocent Palestinians were among the terrorists on October 7th or were sympathizers. Make no mistake. These Palestinians would slit your throat if given a chance.

Jews should never apologize for collateral damage when Jewish lives are at stake. The message needs to be if you don’t want “innocent Palestinians“ killed, don’t kidnap Jews. We will protect our own and world opinion can go to hell.

"October 7th was not an aberration, but the logical expression of an ideology that had always regarded Jewish life as expendable."

Labelling Jewish life as merely expendable diminishes the motivation driving the never ending slaughter of Jews — that it is a religious requirement as mandated by

Surah al-Ma'idah 5:44: And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the disbelievers.

Surah Muhammed (47:4): when you meet the disbelievers ˹in battle˺, strike ˹their˺ necks until you have thoroughly subdued them.

Sahihal-Bukhari 2926 (56:94): "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him."

A year ago, my mother was expressing sorrow about the deaths of "innocent Palestinians." I asked my mother, who was old enough to remember World War 2 very well, how much time she had spent worrying about the deaths of innocent Germans. She replied, "not one second." I don't want to seem completely heartless; I certainly don't celebrate the deaths of innocents. But how many of those accusing Israel of "genocide," would accuse the USSR of genocide for the deaths of 135,000 civilians in Berlin, not to mention the massive destruction of the city? The Guardian, CNN, the BBC have developed a set of humanitarian standards unique in the annals of warfare.

Saving Jewish lives has a long history of an apology. This is what makes the Antisemites excel.

Excellent essay. You nailed it...What a world we live in where barbarians are progressive "resistance".

It is very simple. Unlike our "cousins" we never finish the job, never annex gaza and lebanon, never throw out our "cousins" who do not like living in the Jswish country, any more then we like living in a Muslim one, and we neither look or act Jewish, so the world sees the hypocrisy and conplains. If Itamar ben gvir was in charge for example, things would be very different

... as I pointed out here ( https://drlotharriemenschneider.substack.com/p/kill-mamdami-before-he-kills-you ), Idi Amin IS celebrated as a "freedom fighter", by a "Mayor of New York" and his family who got elected a.o. by a significant amount of NYC Jews. It appears that not only but also many Jews refuse to know who Mamdami is and his fans are, just like hordes of "Israel Critics" don´t (want to) know anything about Judaism, Jews, Jewish History and Israel, but nevertheless claim being able and rightful to "judge".

And two of the terrorists weren´t "Old Nazis" but young Germans, deluded by "Socialism" and Arafat, just as "Socialists" not only in Germany had been antisemitic Jew Haters before 1933 shouting just the same vitriolic speech as Hitler; Germany refused - at least "officially" - to take part in helping Israel, four years after the Munich Olympic Massacre.

It’s a sad commentary on western media, that consistently confuses perpetrators for victims and aggressors for defenders.

50 years ago was also my introduction to the pace of the Israeli news cycle. I arrived in Israel July 6, 1976 as a new immigrant. I expected that Israelis would still be ecstatic about the Entebbe rescue. But by the time I arrived (a mere 48 hours later), everyone had moved on to the next thing.
