I agree with you passionately! I am not Jewish but I am a Zionist. I have had to turn my back on friends who take the opposite view. The views they have are anathema. I look at my Country and I feel an alien. What an upside down world we live in. Evil rules. Keep going you will succeed!

Sadly, the phenomenon of the self hating “kapo Jew” is not uncommon throughout Jewish history. Whether through profound ignorance or some deep seated psychological need (ie Stockholm Syndrome) such individuals turn their backs on their own people, land, culture and history. What they never understand until it is too late is that there is no great success in being on the last train to Auschwitz.

I also am angry with the useful idiot Jews who are so afraid of losing their progressive identity that they don't see facts or rational thought, and I am a liberal Jew. I feel alienated.

I am surprised that there were still Jews in Libya after 1948. My wife's family was forced out Libya in 1948 and emigrated to Or Akiva. It must have been hard for your family to stay. Ok. Back to my plate of mufruma.

I am an evangelical Christian, who loves Israel and G-ds Chosen People. I went to Israel for the first time eight years ago with Moody Bible College in Chicago on a ten day Bible tour. There’s a saying that the Bible goes from black-and-white to 3-D color when you see all the things from the Bible in the land of Israel. I went back every six months on my own for a vacation. What a beautiful land and people.

Unfortunately, the last couple of generations have not been taught the Bible or the Eternal Covenants Hashem made towards Israel and the Jewish people. They don’t have a clue. May the Lord richly bless you and make his face shine upon you for sharing your story.

I’m a non-religious Jew living in America but I have no trouble understanding how important Israel is to all Jews. People like Bernie Sanders (who is now wealthy) and George Soros are pathetic. An Yisrael Chai

Thank you for standing up for the Jewish people and homeland. I've come across many frauds claiming to be Christians with "Christ is King" in their profiles but who hate Israel. I know genuine Christians support Israel.

my gentile friend.....asks me today, "how stupid are the Jews?" because of what you write...jews for a jihadi mayor of nyc. this is an old story with the Jews. So I have to just continue to do what is right and oppose the Jew Hate in every way, in every venue I can. Oh yes I told my friend, Jews are a very stupid people. With all our smarts....look how fcuking stupd we are.

The Jewish People are far from 'stupid'. However, in modern times of about 2 centuries and specifically more modern at least within the last 7 decades Jewish individuals/groups/organizations in large numbers have devolved to become disciples of "Jewish Values". Or even more severe forms of 'secularism' and 'reformism'. Jews need only to be more Jewish. Within that virtually everything in 'Jewish Values' would be included. But included in a sensible proportion and not as dogma. Many alive today were misled by their parents who may have been misled by their parents and so on. Since Simcaht Torah (Oct 7, 2023) "kumbayah died" and Jews (and Others!!!) need to get "The BIG Lesson". Which contains dozens of lessons particular to each individual - Jewish or other. And yes to you and your "gentile firend....asks me today..." for sure amongst our 'smartest' as in bona fide 'intellectuals' of all sorts ... boy do they in particular need a major on-going 'mea culpa' and a full scale proper (as in Kosher, or ) orthodox Teshuvah suitable for their individual state. But, I sense that Jewish Cultural Practices provide the ideas and tools to reverse the tide even for those non-Jews... especially those who want to pull an "Absolutely Fabulous" and who constantly think in their minds "I'm above it" as their dogmatic beliefs of being 'above' us 'poor' Jews. We are all in this together and there is a lot of doggerel. in theological and philosophical texts that should be tossed in the rubbish.

I know of no other people who behave as the Jews....or some of the Jews do. There are not Italian Americans with "Italians say...." t shirts provided by a billionaire oligach....protesting Meloni and Italian racism towards migrants from Africa or Muslim Mid east....Meloni seems to be friendly towards Israel. Of course. .. Jews are adept at self effacement and identifying with those who'd slit our throats instantly. I thinik of the peace nic kibbutzim who suffered the atrocities of Oct. 7th....and the Jews of code pink, the racist fascist jvp and other racist far left Islamist loving organizations who also celebrated the barbarism of Oct. 7th. You prefer I write that Jews can be maddening? Can work against our own best interests. demonizing Israel like communist atheist Sanders.... I understand very well my friend's comment. How many a hole Jews now just love a racist for mayor of NYC who hates Jews. Jews say indeed. NOT IN MY NAME.

I feel the same way as you. I grew up in England and was always told not to tell anyone I was Jewish. I was in Israel in 1967. I saw and heard the attitude of the Arab States. I have lived 50 years in the US and cannot believe how ignorant and naive are the majority of US Jews. Most of my family don’t speak to me because I voted for Trump. I fear this is again like the destruction of the second Temple and the end of a Jewish state. What happens then?! Why can’t the Jews in the diaspora understand what is happening? I’m having nightmares about the current politics in NYC!

I have no friends Jewish or otherwise who are "anti-Zionists." You are correct to break off this friendship. I have family and friends who love Israel but remain misguided as to how to its reality and how to support it. Them I try to work with.

Eloquent cry of frustration. I feel it too. American Jews have had it too easy. As they say, easy times makes Jews soft; soft Jews make hard times; hard times make the IDF and Mossad.
