As I sit here this morning in front of my granddaughter’s American

School doing carpool duty and reading another Joshua Hoffman article, I think “Why have I never pursued Israeli dual citizenship before? “

So today I’m going to go online, contact the embassy and see what my options are. I could use another Joshua Hoffman article telling me the steps to take and letting me know if there’s any other issues I should be aware of in terms of citizenship. It’s never too late. Free Israel! Am Yisrael Chai!

Another well written and timely article, Joshua. I wholeheartedly agree and Jews everywhere must show a united front and be proud of who they are and what they've accomplished. No apologies, ever.

The weight of my Jewish heritage and Israeli identity rests heavily on my shoulders, a burden I carry with fierce pride and unyielding dignity. From a young age, the looming shadow of the Holocaust haunted my every step, its horrors seared into my consciousness by the presence of my father - a survivor of the infamous Auschwitz camp. As I grew older, I witnessed his struggle to survive in a world that had once turned a blind eye to our suffering, now feigning ignorance and indifference. With each passing day, I made it my duty to instill in my son an unwavering vigilance and readiness for the ruthless brutality of this unforgiving world.

But now, enough is enough. It's time for a bold and unwavering movement towards a Free Israel, where we refuse to cower before those who seek to harm or destroy us. No longer will we be deceived by false promises of acceptance or misguided notions of assimilation. We are not a minority to be overlooked or pitied. The time has come for Jews to awaken from our slumber and confront the brutal reality of antisemitism.

We can no longer sugarcoat or tiptoe around the issue. It's time to rise and fiercely fight for our right to exist as a free and proud nation. Our children must be taught the true face of hatred and how to bravely stand against it.

We will no longer hide behind meekness or politeness, hoping for acceptance from societies that will never truly embrace us. No more raising our children in sheltered bubbles, shielding them from the ugly truths of the world. It's time for Jews to break free from complacency and proclaim our identity loud and clear in the face of adversity.

Am Israel Chai Le Olam VaEd!!!!

Wrapping my 77-year-old head around these ideas, Joshua. Especially intrigued about getting Israeli citizenship. Arming myself, not so much. I am staying tuned.

I am not Jewish, nor am I an activist, but I am 100% behind "Free Israel".

“As a Jew” if you don’t already have firearms, ammo, first aid, ballistic protection and training you are way behind the power curve.

When will the Arabs be held accountable for their own people? Egypt and Jordan should take back the Arabs living in Gaza and Judea and Samaria into their countries. Why is Israel supposed to be responsible for them?

"Think about it for a second — the Jewish state is literally the world’s only country with the term 'anti' prefixed to it. Even the most oppressive regimes like North Korea and Iran do not compel people to be 'anti-North Korea' or 'anti-Iran.'"

Several countries currently have highly salient "anti-Russian" factions in their politics, both formal and street. Search the phrase and find headline results like "Anti-Russian Sentiment Escalates as Georgians Seek European Dream."

"Anti-American" postures, of course, are perennial in some places, often directly paired with the anti-Israel; all Iranian street demos that disparage Israel are guaranteed to do the same for America.

A Jewish state is one thing, a good thing.

A Jewish state seeking peace and security right in the middle of a region dominated by psychopathic despots is not the kind of smart thing Jews can usually be counted on to do.

I'm a well to do old white man. Imagine that I moved in to the heart of the ghetto of a large American city and built a big beautiful house. How long would it be before I started having problems with the neighbors?

I have every right to live in the ghetto, just like everybody else. But if I chose to live there, you'd think I was out of my mind. And you'd be right.

So sorry, but with the best of intentions the founders of Israel just made a big mistake. We all make mistakes. It happens. And then we have to deal with it.

The problem is not that Jews are victims. The problem is that they made a mistake. Not a moral crime. A mistake.

Most of the Jews in the world already understand all of the above, which is why they choose to live somewhere other than the Middle East.
