I know right. You know, I went to sleep so heartbroken and demoralized last night after trying to watch the newly released video of Amit Soussana’s kidnapping, it was 3 seconds and I almost vomited. But Joshua’s articles, even when they deal with super serious stuff, always cheer me up and a good laugh was exactly what I needed this morning.
I know what you're saying. My blood pressure goes up reading and listening to some of the repeated antisemitic comments and hate against Israel and Jews every day. Amit Soussana is a real hero for all people enduring what she has and survived it. Watching the college presidents being asked a simple question about the call for intifada against the Jews and the cowards that they are, so reluctant to answer. They do a circle of word play thinking they're clever. I look forward to Joshua's articles every day, but especially today showing what an uneducated, foolish sheep Greta is. She stands there holding a placard thinking she's actually doing something beneficial for humanity, funny and pathetic at the same time.
Agreed. This may sound stupid, and I’ve never been naive about antisemitism, but I’m still finding it so difficult to digest the shows of it, the indifference to it, the sick joy from these people. Don’t they understand that when they come for the Jews, everyone else is next, I ask rhetorically of course. I won’t allow it to break me ever, but I admit that I’m really having a hard time with it. The Greta idiot simply symbolizes how trendy it is to be a Jew hater, but it still hurts. I refuse to kowtow to anyone, but damn, my brain’s not processing well the hypocrisy. I dunno. So glad I found this platform to exchange thoughts/feelings etc., with likeminded people. It helps so much.
It doesn't sound stupid. You sound like an intelligent and thoughtful person who has a hard time processing hate, which is very normal coming the place you're in. Hatred is a sick form of ignorance, being taught to hate at a young age, and unfortunately, never having the curiousity to get to know people other than themselves. You've hit on an important point, "how trendy it is to be Jew hater." It's that, I think, coupled with an intense ideology that can't see beyond their own thinking, as well as the lack of education (thanks to our poison ivy league colleges). You are right, never, ever kowtow to anyone. Be a proud Jew, never hide from your Jewishness and give in to the cowardly behavior like the university presidents, our politicians who don't have the guts to speak out against Jew hatred and terrorism, and the newsmedia. If we, as Jews, retain our strength, we will be on the right side of history. With continued hope Israel will be victorious. Am Yisrael Chai!!!

Since you're highlighting GT's (admittedly indisputable) ignorance, you might want to revisit the reference to 'primary school'. She stopped attending school aged 15, when in the secondary phase of her education.
The strange thing is I would have probably missed the article in the Guardian, which would have been good. Why is somebody in the climate movement even taking a public position on a war? She is sure to split her audience.
Just another one of the many people who are suddenly "experts" on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the geopolitical landscape of the Middle East. Gabor Maté, a renowned psychologist and Holocaust survivor, also comes to mind. It's unfortunate that people can't just stay in their lanes, in places that we actually respected them.

I’m glad you mentioned Greta’s Instagram photo with the blue octopus. It was after that photo that I researched the Nazi connection and familiarized myself with the “Nuremberg Laws”against the Jewish race. Even though she may not be “educated,” sadly Greta knows exactly what she’s doing.
