There's a lot to unpack in this article, including your views about Bibi's efforts to prevent the formation of a Palestinian state. The 2-state solution has seemed destined to fail, no matter what good will Israel has shown in negotiations for it or efforts Bibi (and others) have taken to prevent it. The truth is: the Arabs who live in the contested areas don't want statehood. Never did. Never will, unless some miracle shakes them loose from the stranglehold of Jew-hatred that Islam and neighboring Arab states have on them. In my opinion, Israel should stop working towards any statehood for Palestinians; stop relying so much on Palestinian and other foreign labor and focus on keeping Israel primarily for Jews; calling on Diaspora Jews to help fill the needed positions. As for the Knesset, I agree with the reader who suggested increasing the electoral threshold to solve the problem of tiny extremist parties. I'd also suggest setting a maximum to how many parties there can be, if that maximum doesn't already exist.

I want to thank Future of Jewish for their educational, balanced and Educational news letters. I lived in Israel for a number of years in the 1980s. I am passionate about Israel. This is a great service to Israel, set out in clear unambiguous terms. It Educates us all.
